I am in Utah so it did not have to travel very far but I guess it is still he best option for Sideshow. The scout and the base are in perfect condition, it's just the bike that is broken. I have to take pictures before and after to pro e the damage. Once they get the photos they will ship the replacement bike.

I like the fire idea. Build a friggin bonfire and throw it on all Darth Vader end of ROTJ style.
I like the "tether ball" idea: Tie it to a tree and give it a whirl... Some M-80's would help with the pyrotechnics effects at the end...

I wonder if there would be a point where Sideshow would be satisfied with the damage, but that you could still use it for an "exploding-against-a-tree" custom.

That's what I was thinking, Utah isn't all that far to have to do a destroy tactic.....the shipping on this must be a beast for it to be more cost effective to trash it.

I like this idea as well but I'd tether it to the back of your car and go for a nice drive, have someone follow you and tape it and lets see just how fast these things really go...
I did that with a bunch of carded POTF2 action figures last year. It was cathartic.

I destroyed my speederbike as well,mine arrived dameged and I got a mail to destroyed it with a hammer so I did.Now I need to send them pics of the destroyed bike .
I had to destroy my King Elessar statue. Was quite funny as my missus did'nt know so I just walked in the room with a hammer and started giving him verbal s**t...then smacked him a few times and she was like.."what the hell are you doing..thats my money too"etc...held out for a while before I told her!!

Just how destroyed does it have to be? For them to send you a replacement you're providing them with a 'before' pic cleary showing damage. Therefore this damage warrants a pristine replacement since that's what you paid for in the first place.
That's not to say I don't understand their reasoning but it just seems unnecessary.
