There's no doubt that Jabba is PF quality. I just think he needs his entourage, and I don't want to drop $700-900 for a PF quality Jabba surrounded by a bunch of "dolls".
As a kid it was quite a journey of saving allowances and ordering the Kenner Jabba through the Sear's catalog before finally having him. So I don't feel deprived in that way, I've already enjoyed having the big slug in my collection in one way or another.
And its too redundant for me to keep two separate scales of the same figures. 12 inch Boba Fett will really be kind of anti-climactic now, so why bother?
Jabba's "iconic" status is quite a bit below Luke, Leia, Yoda, the Droids, Boba Fett, Stormtroopers and other characters guaranteed to get the PF treatment (or already are PF characters) and all will ultimately bring more satisfaction for me.
I definitely can't knock anyone for holding onto Jabba though, it truly is a spectacular piece and the SDCC display with him and Luke, Boussh, and Bib Fortuna looked fantastic.
