$20 is too much, but I have to admit it's pretty screen accurate. That makes it tempting.

Got my head yesterday. Probably my favorite 1/6 portrait sculpt. The subtlety in the eyes impossible to see in photos. Andy has outdone himself, IMO, and the casting is excellent.
NOW CAN SOMEONE PLEASE GIVE ME SOME TIPS ON FREAKING EYEBALL PAINTING! :banghead
I've been to art school, I consider myself a comptetent craftsman, but for my life I cannot paint even, well-defined eyes.:monkey4:monkey2:emperor

It's cool to see all the ideas generating from this thread!

Can't wait to see what people do with their cast.

Mike

Got my headsculpts today..........WOW. This is the best sculpt Andy B. has ever done and it is the best sculpt I have ever seen in person. It is truly amazing and should be in a museum.

Thanks again to Miketek for making these available! :rock

I'll be sure to post my custom once it's finished.

Same here! The sculpt and casting is absoluley amazing. So professional looking, including the hole in the neck. This isn't just a figure headsculpt, it is a work of art! :rock

Josh from small _studios is the master of eyes let me know if your interested i can put you onto him

This is thinking too far ahead, but I was thinking that if a Ben sculpt is ever done, the new Hot Toys slim body would be perfect. Ben is a small person and the Slim body is slightly shorter than the reg TT and Ben is also tiny so the slimness of the new body will also be good for Ben.

Now here are some in hand pics I took of the amazing sculpt, you can see the detail in these pics:

Great pics. I still consider Andy's Bale to be the best Bale sculpt out there and even that, IMO, pales in comparison to the Locke sculpt. He just keeps getting better! :rock

Here is a cool thread I've found talking about different gear and rigs that Locke has used.

https://www.losttv-forum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5512

That's a really cool thread, thanks for posting it. I love the guy who actually went out and bought all of Locke's gear, incluing the shoes. And I thought it was cool that someone actually asked Terry O'Quinn questions about his gear and he answered!

I remember reading somwhere that they asked Terry O'Qquinn about his action figure, which he was not into at all. He suggested that people just put his little knife in his hand and set him loose in the garden. :)

Got the heads today. Woo-hoo! Best 1/6 sculpt I've seen ever!

Got this email from Ada the other day regarding her Ben sculpt. (Funny thing is I asked her for a Ben sculpt last year and she told me she wasn´t interested in making any more LOST sculpts )

It looks like her site doesn´t work right now but you can find that head on Ada´s ebay site. Seller: wantedyou

Btw, gotta LOVE this Locke sculpt. It´s way better than Ada`s Locke and I thought that was the best Locke head out there.
Will have to start saving!

That Ben isn't bad, especially compared to her Sawyer for instance, but her work still has a softness of the features and a roughness to the finish that prevents the sculpt, even when the likeness is there, from looking realistic.

It'll do, but after seeing what Andy did with Locke I'm chomping at the bit to see what he could do with Mr. Linus.

i got the same email as well from ada, that ben isnt really too shabby at all. the hair kinda has a wind blown look as if on the beach but very strong IMHO & would work rather well. i would love to see a top notch painter get hold of this and do it right.

p.s. ada should send a few of these to top painters in our world for free to see what they could do with them and really showcase the work she does & has done for her.
bet she would sell a lot more than what she already does.

Not bad. That is one of Ada's better sculpts.....and I don't like her work.

Regardless I hope Ben would be one of the next in the series done by Miketek/Andy B.

But we'll have to wait and see.
