Well here is a scene from the film me and my friends are making at the moment, it's about a mysterious entity that possesses people:)

Tell me what you think:)

Hey, I get ya. It's been a ____ty week to be honest. I wont lie, I took things a tad too seriously. So i'm sorry. But...I still want this thread to exist, because I think it could be awesome in the long run. We could see some stuff here with REAL potential. That's a win win win in mah book!

Just this week? :lol

I think you do have a good knowledge of movies, but when you don't like something you beat it like a dead horse. Then when it pisses people off, you say you're just having fun. You've been doing that for a long time and it rubs people the wrong way. But you don't seem to care and end up looking *******. It's no surprise people put you on ignore.

Btw, I do think this is a good thread. :duff

The biggest thing that annoys people about CelticP that I've seen is his age. I remember one time we were in a thread talking about something and the topic shifted to classic movies and CelticP started naming films he thought were "classic" and like all the movies he listed came out in the 90's. :lol

Yeah, people didn't really like that much. :lol

Well, there is that. :lol

I think it's pretty cool that you're actively making your own films, Celtic. I am very interested in the process and back in college I shot some stuff on old 16mm B&W for my film course, but now it's just languishing somewhere, someplace.

Celtic P:

Enjoyed your Inception sketch. The best part was the beginning. Well done. What genre do you like doing most? Me and my friends were big into sketch comedy back in the day. God bless Mr. Show.

Hey hey hey now! :lol

That was not me. My three favorite flicks are from 1979, 1981, and 1986;. :1-1:

I love filmmaking, too. Now that I have a DSLR that shoots full HD film, I plan on making short films. For now, here's a silly little thing I created for class last year. Took me about an hour to film and another hour or two of editing. I've posted it before, but it's pretty amazing, so here ya ho. :rotfl

I'm a film student! If you're serious about making films, you're better off doing your own thing, because you don't learn how to do anything like that at Uni...

It's experience that counts in terms of films...

Yeah, I liked this one. :D

Good editing. You should learn how to color correct stuff, and brightness and contrast. Makes yo film pop! :yess:

I liked that shot where everything is moving around you. It's pretty simple, but very effective to do. Good job sir! :clap

Damn , you've got nearly five hundered thousand views on the captain america video !. :lol
If you'd have had the option of revenue sharing up on your channel you'd have made a killing. :rotfl It would probably have been pulled then though with it being their footage and stuff.

^ I know...haha. It's alright though. I'd rather get noticed first.

Workin on a Tron spoof...thing now.

What is that effect the real movie makers do to their films when you watch them. It doesn't look live but when you see other people's clips it has that home movie feel to it.

You sometimes see that same effect when you see the recording and they have a tv somewhere in the scene.

Is it a difference in fps or something?

That's the difference between Film and Video.
