Heh, this was on Sky yesterday. Funny that, a 2011 film trying to take us back to the 80's. Some very funny moments. Loved the police scene.

Pretty much every 80's movie I've seen I've really enjoyed. I was having a conversation with my mate the other day, we both wish we were around in the 80's, even late 80's, to say that we were a part of that generation as everything we've experienced from it has been great. Instead, we're 90's kids and are somewhat stuck with the Pokemon, Power Rangers, and the original Cartoon Network cartoons as a label for our era of entertainment. At least, that's the label from where I'm from and I'm not complaining cos they were just as awesome. But music and films from the 80's are quality and I wish I were about to see it when it wasn't know as "the 80's" or "3 decades ago".

I think the late 90's had much better cartoons than the 80's. I personally can't stand Hanna-Barbera, and the G.I.Joe/Transformers cartoons were only good for the toys they produced. The best thing in 80's cartoons was 70's re-runs, and even then, the best were Japanese.

I'll take Powerpuff Girls and Dexter's Laboratory over Thundercats and Super Friends any day (and twice on Saturday morning).
