When it comes to American cartoons, almost nothing today holds a candle to anything from the 80's or 90s'... hell, from the 60's or 70's either.

I'll take Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes over the painful 60's-70's Hanna Barbara Marvel and the lame Spider-Man/X-Men cartoons from the 90's.

1890's were epic.
No. Ren & Stimpy and South Park.

I'm not joking.
There's a few good cartoons here and there, but very, very few in comparison. In fact, these days it's like a needle in a haystack. Cartoons these days are terrible. I think this is due to all the pandering towards kids needs and concerns. ****, I'm giving my kids ghostbusters, **** that bs going on with Cartoon Network lately.I'll take Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes over the painful 60's-70's Hanna Barbara Marvel and the lame Spider-Man/X-Men cartoons from the 90's.
The Hanna Barbara and the 90's Spider man and X Mean were some of the best superhero cartoons ever. The Earth's mightiest heroes is written so negatively and has them speaking so non heroically. So snide and rude and full of ego. Real heroes aren't like that. That isn't the example of attitude that children should emulate. It takes away the most vital purpose of superhero cartoons, which is to instill morals and noble character in children.
