I am still salty the Play Toy cannot balance for crap. Glad they are remedying it for their SF6 Cammy but, too late for the Battle Dress Chun-Li and possibly Alpha and Classic Cammy.

I'm giving up my Chun li Playtoy and getting the Starman precisely because of this standing problem, I like the Playtoy version better but this problem is a deciding factor for me

You definitely need a stand for the playtoy, precisely why I sold it but also I got mine damaged. I think best combo would be playtoy head on the Starman body

Hope is fine to post this here seeing theirs 4 street fighter characters lol Here is my last picture for this year, all my 1/6 figures that I have received this year!

Your rogue eyes look a little off..did you contact mondo about getting a replacement head sculpt? They did that for everyone that got bad sculpts. Just send them an email. You don't have to purchase directly from them to receive replacement parts.

Other than that, the picture is awesome!

Yea that's because I digitally moved them to be looking at wolverine, the original eye placement would have made her look spaced out lol but I did requested a replacement head, haven't received it yet and that was around May.

And thanks!

You did get an order from them for the replacement head correct? As long as you have an order than you'll get it in time. Could always send an email as well to see the progress.

Hmm maybe I didn't get the order but eh I don't really care seeing I either way will always have to move the eyes digitally depending the poses I give her. (y)

You'll want to get the replacement heads...it makes the figure really beautiful. Just check your account or emails cause they would have emailed you the order. Otherwise just shoot them and email again and they'll take care of it.

Early review (Chinese) of Star Man SF 6 Cammy

Hmm I am still conflicted whether to get this or not ..it doesn't look as good as the playtoys version.

Unlike the classic Cammy, this version doesn't fully sell me to get it.

I bet it will still look great in hand but since we have the playtoys one as well, it's harder to go for it.

The plus side for this is that this is the production version.

How is playtoys with their releases when comparing prototype to production version?

Pretty good imo.

I finally had time to unbox my Starman and Playtoy Chuns after the Holidays. I personally prefer the Playtoy; the seamless ankles suck, but I can get it balanced and posed in a neutral stance without issue. The Starman arms feel so thin, especially at the elbow. I bent the arms once and immediately saw the skeleton almost rip through mine.

Incredible, I couldn't get my Chun li from playtoy to stand up at all lol. Starman needs to improve his arms, I don't feel any confidence in letting his arms bend. I sold my playtoy chunli and bought the starman one just because of the Alpha costume and because the figure can stand up.

Got the Star Man Cammy recently. I'm very happy with it, but didn't like how the beret floats on the head. Ordered a spare so I could mod a Super Duck Cammy beret. Added the new insignia to the outside and mounted the magnet inside the beret so it rests on her head more. I can turn the figure upside down without it falling off lol.

Also, if you have OCD about the left armguard not having the elbow piece attached then you can use the Super Duck armguards on this body. They're a little smaller, so you get more elbow articulation out of the figure as a result.
