Do you think I can fix this myself?
Because this is clearly a problem of badly positioned skeleton in the arm!

I can't understand how this goes through quality control, they don't test the joints!??
It's a Nightmare...

I have the Ryu and Ken from Iconiq who have the same body, and I've never had this problem.

First of all sorry to hear that you received your Akuma like that. Sounds like a real pain...

If it really is just the metal joint that was somehow positioned backwards under the silicone you could try to slowly and carefully rotate it back into the right position. Like bend the arm a bit and push it a little in the right direction then straighten the arm again so the silicone can adjust, then just repeat it again and again until the joint reaches the correct position. I think it is worth a try but just take it slow and don't put too much pressure on the joint. Good luck!

I remember my Ryu had a funny arm, I think the same thing. It's OK now, think I just moved it around. I pre-ordered Akuma but may eat the NRD, the wind has come out of the sails of this Iconiq line. Chances of Guile, Zangief etc seem very remote.

I was honestly in the same boat as you. I feel ever since Andy left things seem different with Iconiq maybe he knew something which is why he bailed. I cancel all pre orders with them and sold most of the figures I had. Kaustic plastic can have my money instead

I still really like my Ryu and I have no current problems with him (knock on wood). I'm still interested in seeing more, but at this point I'm sort of mentally checked out unless they announce someone new. Many of us already grabbed fairly decent Chun-li and Cammys, which is why I'd like to see a real surprise character like Honda, Blanka, or Dhalsim. I'm not sure what will happen with the line, but I hope for the best. I just won't get my hopes up either.

Thanks for your answer.
I think I managed to put the metal joint back in the right position, by moving it very delicately so as not to damage the silicone.

Now the arm goes less backwards at the elbow, and I can bend the arm almot 90 degrees forward.

But the problem is that the metal joint is still floppy...
So in fact the arm can still go a little backwards at the elbow, and above all I cannot bend it more than 90 degrees forward (It doesn't really stay at 90 degrees by the way.)

For example, I cannot put his fist on his chest as I do here with his right arm.
The left arm which is floppy retracts directly into the 90 degree position (even less) because it has no resistance.

Unfortunately my problem was not only a poorly placed metal joint, but also a metal joint that is too floppy.

Sorry to hear that... but I was already expecting this to be the case since you mentioned before that you could move the elbow all too easily without any pressure just by nudging it a little.
I'm glad that you were able to at least position the joint in the right direction but I'm afraid the floppiness can't be fixed. At least not with this thick layer of silicone that is the arm in place... if you could reach the metal joint itself you could at least have a look if there was a screw somewhere that you could tighten a bit but that's practically impossible. It would definitely damage the silicone so there's no use in trying.
I'd contact the seller you bought it from. Maybe they can arrange for a replacement or at least give you a discount or something...
Stuff like this really shouldn't be happening with such expensive figures... It's always such a pain to deal with...

Yes thanks, in fact on FB someone gave me the mail of iconiq for after sales service.
Iconiq answered me really fastly, and told me that as i purchased from one of their re-sellers i would need to contact them initially for support follow up.

So i contacted Kit who asked me a short video of my problem to describe it clearly.
Here is the video i sent:

I have thought several times about selling my iconiq figures but…this is a game changer…

Edit: the picture is from Eleven account

Hello. Sorry I'm new on this topic. What are these bodies ? Are they available somewhere ? From which manufacturer ?
I was thinking about getting an Akuma figure but I hate seamless phicen bodies (one day they will all crumble into dust and most collectors in the world will ask themselves why they though it was a good idea...)
