get my self a new ride ! or Ducati ! collecting HT is getting boring imo. i thinking to quit collecting and put all my HT on ebay

I haven't bought a figure in ages, mostly collecting some Mattel stuff now. So I wouldn't mind if they quit, wouldn't make a difference anymore.

I'd save untold $$ on Iron Man figures. But I have yet to see a company just close its doors and walk away from a bucket load of money. And if they did, there are other companies chomping at the bit who would gladly step in, scoop up the licenses, and keep on trucking.

Of course they won't go away. Some people just wish they would :lol

I'd down size to the most desired pieces. Probably use the money saved to take more frequent road trips. Wife and I love to pick up and go....assuming grandparents will watch the kids...

I'd be disappointed if they quit, but I voted don't give a crap, that one made me laugh. :lol

I would do what I'm doing now: buy whatever appeals to me. HT just happens to have the right combination of quality and licenses, but if another company makes a quality figure I like, I'll buy it, just like the Blitzway Carlito figure (even though I never watched the movie). HT quitting won't make me turn more to other companies, for instance, I won't suddenly want to deal with Enterbay QC issues, and most SS figures will still look very unappealing to me.

They may aswell of quit in regards to what i liked buying. I got into hot toys for Predators and Stayed for Resident evil. As of late all the Predators have been re-newed versions of past releases and theres been near 2 years since the last RE figure and 2-3 months till the next.

It's not really a fair question. HT is wildly successful, if they were to stop then some other company (Sideshow would make sense) would sweep in, hire all their artists, buy the licenses and keep churning out Iron Men.

Forget a toilet, I wish my collecting habits would allow me to live indoors like all you fancy pants city slickers.
:goodpost:

First thing I'd do is track down Howard Chan and box his ears for not putting the Arkham City figures out sooner.
Almost forgot 'bout that! :slap

I would most likely switch over to Enterbay or continue with SS statues and save some serious $$ if HT isn't around. But nostalgia always hits me and I'd miss them. :(

yes it does suck that HT is now Hot Iron men, but its their biggest money maker apparently so why would they stop? Yes its unfair to fans who want to collect other licences but HT is a business to make money and iron man/batman are the sell out figures. Just look at the BD mark VII loads of people waiting to buy it even though the regular isn't even out yet.

There'd be little need for panic. Manufacturers know there's a market for these things. Studios would licence another company to make them and life would go on.
