I selected I really don't give a crap for obvious reasons. I started collecting HT when they actually did non-superhero movie licenses as well. Now it's just anything and everything Iron Man.
:clap pretty much the same feelings.
I got into the whole 1/6 craze because of Enterbay's Leon. Van Damme has me interested and having Sports athletes made like Jordan is a plus.
If only they could just work on quality control and push out more products a year they would be the clear choice for non super hero options.

After I complete the Nolan's Batman collection - I'll be yawning at all the new releases from Hot Toys this year and maybe next year if phase 2 Avengers or Iron Man 4 comes out.

I guess I´d quit, cause HT ARE the best in their game, EB´s to expensive in 1/4, sideshow´s not the quality, I don´t like statues and I couldn´t do a step back to 6".
So...curtain call collectingwise for me...

sheeesh. its not like the whole 1:6 scale revolves around HT.

if they go the way of the dodo. boo effin hoo.

I have been moving away from Hot Toys already to to lack of figures I am interested in.

I have been getting my fix on custom figures of late and if HT went under I would continue that route.

Also I would focus more on retro game collection.

Probably not care. I mainly collect 1/6 military stuff and hot toys has already quit that a while ago. I don't have any hot toys on pre order atm and I think luke, batman and the red skull are the only three I have picked up since November. Even if they did quit there would be someone to step in and fill the void.

The i don't give a crap votes are Statue collectors :lol
Well for me about 4 of the other options applied to me. If it be buy a figure from another company, make a kitbash or buy a statue or whatever. I got into collecting because of franchises i liked not companies i want to support.

I have a mixture of statues, hot toys, neca & kitbashes ive made ect. All because they are items id like. But i view other peoples collections and its ALL hot toys. Of multiple franchises and figures. And i wonder to myself.. are they in it for their love of thoes franchises or the love of hot toys?

Since I found this forum I have been far more interested in collected custom figures. I think it's exciting to be able to buy figures that Hot Toys would never touch and a lot of the time, the quality is as good if not better than other companies!

I'm pretty much done with HT as a whole. The price of their figures has finally reached the point its too much. The new Mark 42 costs $310 which is basically 1/3 the Sauron PF. That's crazy to me and its more than any of the statues in The Lord of the Rings statue line. I'll get the powerpose Mark 42 and be happy. As a whole though be it Sideshow or HT I'm out of 1:6th figures. I'm full on my Middle-earth collection rebuilding it from selling some off a while back and adding new items from SS, Weta, as well as GG. I'm also adding new items from The Hobbit. Middle-earth has always been my #1 so my other likes are taking a backseat since I'm happy with how I've trimmed that part down. If I get something outside of Middle-earth it will be say a Mythos statue from Sideshow.
