If you could pick 1 previous SS figure to remake, who would it be?

For me, Frankenstein's Monster. I remember getting him for xmas back in 2000 and was in awe of all that monster goodness and the joys of seeing Wolfman and Dracula coming as well. I also remember picking up 6 Frankenteins on clearance at Spencers for 4.95 each lol.

He is screaming for a remake. They could improve on the already nice karloff sculpt, better paint aps, a more natural greenish gray skin tone, nicer fitting clothes and boots, oh and BIG BOY BODY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Look at him. Sideshows first 12" figure compared to their latest 12" figure.

Frankenstein deserves to be updated.

2 words:

MICHAEL MYERS

THE FIRST ONE WAS SOOO BAD....

For me it would have to be michael myers from Halloween. The sculpt looks bugger all like him and he has a very short afro. I still bought it.:lol

Bernie Wrightson Frank :monkey1

..not to improve, just cause I want one!

Many of the initial 12" figures would benefit from the advances in tailoring the current crop enjoys, but for me, the one figure that really needs an overhaul is Willlow.

A fantastic outfit, great accessories, but whatever happened to the head between prototype and production was really a shame.

My second pic would be Modern Kurgan...:monkey4 That face Sculpt is just NOT Clancy Brown...

FrankenFan I was torn between Fatih and Willow, but at least Willow has a terrific costume that represents her character. Out of everything that Faith wore on Buffy, they chose the absolute least attractive thing she wore.

With out a shadow of a doubt it would have to be Modern Kurgan....Like Shai said its not Clancy and that hurt sales!!

12" Myers looks ok....it's more like the part 4 mask though.

Wor-Gar, I am in the same boat, Myers is the only modern horror figure i have yet to pick up. Is he really that bad? Could we open this up to "one figure from each line" as I think that the Python Palin figure is kinda hard to see the likeness in too...

I've been thinking about picking Myers up -- just how bad is he in person?

IMO...really bad..Hes the only modern horror figure I dont own.I saw him at a comc shop for $30, but he looked really bad...I just never found a good reason to own him!

seeing that halloween is my favorite slasher series i had to pick up a michael myers. he isnt that bad, but could be soooooo much better.

What would you rate him on a scale of 1 to 10?

Odd, Myers if one of my favorite SS figures. The mask isn't exact, but I love the jumpsuit and how it lays on him, his hands are kewl and the knife fits perfect in it. He is just a fun figure.

For the price, Myers is fine.

The mask is ok but like I said, it's more like the mask from part 4.

I would give him a 7 out of 10.

He looks good with the other horror figures.

I agree, Seaward, it's a horse-race between the two, as far as failed likenesses go, and her outfit is a bit uninspired. But with Faith, we got pretty much what was advertised, albeit with a lesser paint job. With Willow, we were teased with a wonderful prototype that captured her shy, naive charm, but instead were delivered a pasty-faced, homely imposter. :(

Faith is my second-favorite Buffy character but, Willow will always be my first love. *sigh*
