Here's one that doesn't get much talk.......Crazy Horse. While there are no pictures of the real Crazy Horse for reference I just think they could improve so much on his outfit. The sculpture is really well done but the costume is lacking.

Either of the X-Files Mulder figures would greatly benefit from a better headsculpt and the same could be said for the Scully figures as well. In a line that has one of the best human likenesses on any 12" scale action figure (CSM) it's a shame that the two lead characters haven't had headsculpts of similar quality.

I'd like to see a new Dracula. The penultimate Classic Horror character could use an updated sculpt with a newly tailored costume, and better accessories. Honestly, what am I supposed to do with this stupid bat?

I think all the Python Knights need a resculpt. They are lacking in likeness AND character. i wanted Lancelot, as I'm a huge Cleese fan, but they just didn't capture him. Not even his...essence.

I agree Karloff Frank could do with an update.

Mikey, oddly enough the Python Knights are the weakest element of that whole line, as I think most everything else is superb. I thought Brave Sir Robin was pretty close, and Bedivere was pretty good too, but Arthur is very generic and captures little of what Chapman looks like. The Palin sculpt suffers the most through his cheesy, attempting to be suave, grin. I actually think that Lancelot is a passable Cleese likeness, but Tim and the Taunter fare much better.

faith -- for reasons already stated -- we may have gotten more or less what was advertised, and i was certainly a sucker for believing that, "no, it can't possibly be that bad", but she is the one figure that i routinely try to hide behind the rest in my Buffy display -- Willow was disappointing, certainly, but, imho, you can at least tell who it supposed to be :stake

I'd probably go with Myers on this one as well... For the knights from Python, I thought they were solid, but I was real disapointed with King Arthurs beard, the paint was just slopped on :monkey2

What would you rate him on a scale of 1 to 10?

i give it a 7 out of 10. the mask is the only weakness of the figure. everything else is great. im still hoping a PF version comes along, perhaps after i complete my palpatine crusade a michael myers one should being....

I thought Meyers was very weak. The toupee, the super-baggy jumpsuit. It was nver that baggy in the films. I don't think the fake hair was neccessary.

For me......

... the 12" Wolfman. He's an earlier offering. He has waaay too loose joints. He has no padding in his body at all. Chaney jr. had a rather hulking physique. The 12" Wolfie is waaay too anorexic. He cannot stand on that stupid tree trunk base with those loose joints either. The face sculpt needs work also. So...12" Wolfman. Definitely. :emperor

Yeahh, and when I had him he always kept falling off that big branch...loll

I'd have to say that it would have to be Modern Kurgan, Myers, or Regular Ash from Army. Those three just missed the mark IMO and could have been leagues better. I still love em, just wish they would've been more accurate.

At least S-Mart Ash redeemed the AOD line a bit...:lol

Id really like remakes of the 1st Universal Monsters released. Also Freddy. One with correct pants color, & better sweater, & different sculpt for the un-gloved hand. Maybe a talking version.

To be redone: Willow and Faith, to be sure.

To be revisited: Human Face Spike's head on a different body like an Angel series Spike or something.

Willow definitely. I think her release was the start of the decline of the line. People saw they'd never be happy with the whole line if they didn't have a decent Willow and I'm betting that's where sales started to decline. If a new Willow released with a better likeness I think it would rejuvenate the line.

And I can't believe anyone is unhappy with the Scully sculpt - it's one of the best in any of the lines, especially of the women!

I thought of one more I'd like to see redone... the TZ Gremlin. He has always been my favorite TZ creature and I love the figure, especially the headsculpt... but the body just looked like a big pillow. I think it was cool they attempted to create a bodysuit to simulate the costume, but I think it could have used more definition in the suit and 'nap to the fur. He's always been a disapointment to me :monkey2 And one figure that I rarely have on display.

I agree regarding Faith. If you show her to a Buffy fan without any of the accessories, I bet they'd be hard pressed to know it was her. The final production Willow turned out bad as well but you can at least tell it was her based on the outfit.
