Those damn customs always seem to go for about that much. I sure as hell wouldn't pay that much for a 1/4 scale statue....unless it had a couple full figures on it.

I have a few customs and never paid close to $1000 for any of them, in fact the most expensive on I got was $600

You will have to excuse my horrible photography skills.

The gargoyle's face looks ugly on that.
It's not a gargoyle, it's a lion with Wolverine slash marks on it.

Sorry, I was under the impression that they costed a lot more. How many of them are 1/4 scale? I like the first one, it looks like a Jim Lee Version.

the 1/4 scale on a lion actually costs more than $1k after you account for shipping. It was done digitally, and very well so, I might add...but then again, I'm the guy who loves the koto version :pfft:

The only drawback for me (other than the price) is that they chose a more modern take on batman.

I have a bunch of customs and all the b&w. It would be great if DC could release some of those in 1/4 scale.

The Jim Lee Hush Batman and Batman Inc. statues are true 1/4, the Batman on Gargoyle is slightly bigger, and the Batman on throne is probably closer to 1/5 scale.

Of all of them, the custom I came closest to buying was Gabriel Luna's. Couldn't get him eventually because of the money involved.

However, this would be an exception, Thiago Provin's Miller Bats. Would not mind spending big money on him at all! :lecture

Batman humping gargoyle for 1000 bucks? :lol

it isn't that one. He's crouched on a statue of a lion. Averone has pics of it in his thread. Cost aside, I am not sure how anyone can dispute the quality of it.

The gargoyle one costs less, but is equally (if not more) impressive in my opinion.
