Hey guys,

Greg from Cotswold checking in after too long a hiatus. Got caught up on the ninja discussion, especially the red ninja that we carry. Some notes:

We originally intended to bring all the red ninja stock in to sell at last year's JoeCon. Unfortunately, to airmail them all in would have cost us some serious $$$. We then opted to have them shipped via sea. Well, that opened up a whole new can of worms, with us getting held up with paperwork and shipment coordination with other things we had coming in from overseas. Well, after FOREVER, we got the stuff in November. Better late than never, I say. The plus was that we also got in the black ninja uniforms (cut the same way as the brown and the red outfits).

Regarding the packaging using the older brown ninja boxes, that was our decision. If we had gone with all new boxes, that would have driven the retail price up higher than what it is now. We felt people would prefer a lower price with a standard box to an all new box with a higher price...

Also, it is true that our website is not in real time. Our goal is to get an all new site up and running by year's end that will be real time. The plan is for you to also keep track of your orders online. Until then, you have to deal with our old fashioned customer service team. ;-)

Oh yeah, regarding the stock level on the 144 Red Ninja, yeah, I thought these would have sold em all before 2009 ended, but I was sadly mistaken. We had an order surge right around the time you all were talking about the sets this summer (coincidence? I think not) but then demand dropped off. We're sitting on about 70 or so sets still. Go figure.

Anyhoo, thanks for all your support. Back to the grind.

You have some of the best customer service personnel I've had the pleasure of working with, from Ms. Mercury, Ms. Becky, and Mr. Art.
I plan on being a constant buyer from you just based on that service alone.

I bought 2 red ninjas and between myself and the coworkers who saw them, we're pretty darn impressed.

Thats great to hear! Hope the new site comes up sooner than later. I have had to call a couple times for various reasons and have always been helped promptly and politely. Your customer service is always great. Thnx :)

Damn, I suprised only 70 sold :(

I may have to order me another one.

Yeah, I'm still scratching my head on the sales of this set as well. We promoted this set in Lee's Action Figure News and in our print catalog, so we expected these things to sell off the shelves fast. Didn't happen. What's even odder is that we airfreighted in 6 sets for last year's JoeCon in Kansas City, displaying one on an arashikage clan dio that I built and not a one sold there. Was certain that at least 144 people buying a Storm Shadow or Snake Eyes would need a few red ninja to accompany them. No dice.

At least you all found them and are enjoying them. I myself have enjoyed seeing the pics of what you've done with your ninja as well - especially the one of all four ninja fighting - most impressive.

Question - and I'm just asking this for my own curiosity - if you could choose another color or pattern for a ninja outfit, what would it be? I've been kicking around the idea of having another outfit made (no weapons or figure). This isn't an in the stone project, just curious with the down the road possibility of it being made.

Thanks again.

I would like a woodland camo and a blue one.

:lecture What he said! If camo is too tough, I'd take light brown/tan in a heartbeat.

Greg, make this happen and we'll buy multiples! :banana

(BTW, a remastered edition of the Shaw Bros. classic FIVE ELEMENT NINJAS comes out on DVD this week. Lots of different Ninja clan colors (including the woodland & Aqua Blue ones EvilFace mentioned):

Also, Greg... if Crazy Owners sold complete white Ninja outfits separately (like they do with black) we could always dye them our own colors for custom ninjas. Just throwing out another idea.

Urban camo storm shadow!!!

I'll see if I can afford another red ninja next week Greg.
Maybe 2.

I'm late in the game, but I will be picking up at least one Red Ninja. I was looking for them, but couldn't find them anywhere, thanks for posting the link!

Had one on order but had to cancel. Too much stuff. With the market saturation and economy I have to be discretionary about my spending and prioritize and this had to go. Looks cool though.
