Never heard that sound , i own 3 Detolfs , it could be if you walk by it and the floor boards move , it might make that sound or it could be that the plastic corner pieces that hold the panels in place might not be pushed in far enough , by that not being done the unit is outta square :dunno

hope that helps

Me too, I own 6, never hear any thing if I don't touch it.:monkey1

Yeah, mine does too. It scares me and every now and then i justhave to go over and check it. :)

I just built 5 detolfs about a month or two ago and 2 of them make the loud popping noises. I was honestly worried that they were breaking or something as I have my Hulk PF on top of one. It a huge relief to know everyone seems to have the same issue.

Mine do that. Nothing to worry about, wood and glass expand and contract with the heat and cold. Mine are in my basement where it stays cooler than anywhere else in my house so when the heat clicks on I'll get a pop or two... or three once in a while. I'm used to it so it doesn't bother me in the least and it's not that often anyway.

I presently have either Detolfs and here the pops from time to time. As previously mentioned, it's natural expansion/contraction of the materials. Nothing to worry about.

Weird... never noticed this with mine. But guess its good to know about if it ever starts happening :lol

I sold my detolfs because they were popping and locking. :dunno

Did it do the Van Damme too?

Mine does that all the time! At least a few times each day. And its really loud! I always think a figure is falling.

hahaha, mine does the same thing. l have large PFs in mine and sometimes l will be sleeping and l will hear a large crack noise, like the glass just cracked, and l would inspect it but it's all fine. l hear it do that every now and then.
