Have anyone made the detolf totally hermetic? I meand, sealing the front part of the door. If anybody did, could tell how was? :rotfl

Awe man... missed this post... never mind about the popping and locking Turbo.

If he had true moves, he'd have found a way to turn a fall down a flight of stairs into the next big dance craze. Not a trip to the hospital.

It was in one of the threads in the actual "How to display ..."
Two solutions:
- I can't remember who but used transparent rubber tubes and slit them open and clamp them around the edge of the glass.
- I actually went to HD and picked up insulating foamtapes and layed out along the inside of the detolf glasspanels that would have a gap when the door is closed. Works with both Detolf and Bestas

Someone should move this post to that subsection before it disappears into the depth of this thread :)

Just spent an hour combing over my three brand new Detolfs for a shelf or pane with a fracture. Then I googled "detolf popping sound" and found this thread, LOL. Glad to know this is kind of normal.

I have 4 Detolfs in a row in my office and I get this occasionally. It can be a little disconcerting at first, but doesn't seem to mean anything bad.

Didn't u guys know? Mr Detolf was murdered by IKEA's CEO and his vengeful spirit haunts every unit.
