i really think he'd be worth it, since he'll be the only statue that will have the 3-D opition with the paint flying off at you, it'll make you feel like IM is alive and in your room

This sucks....I told myself I wouldnt actually put the order in till they posted a ES. I guess I'll never get one now....this is going to be limted to like 10,000. If thats the case.....these things should be selling for $500.
I really wanted to get this...but its obvious now they are heading in the same direction as the bust

I knew there would be lots of these, there was no way this was going to be limited and I think that Sideshow thought they had a seize the opportunity of Iron Man mania and profit like a muther.

Seen it a mile coming.

but that being said, you should get it because you like it, not because of ES.

Let's be honest are you finding the bust at 1/2 price? No absolutely not. Why? Partly because the AD cost is probably still high and secondly because there were so many damaged ones, getting a clean one to the actual buyers was hard enough. You hear about one or two people snagging an outstanding deal but those are few and far between.

So, what will happen here? I forsee a ton of damaged pieces, some worse than others, some downright obscene and an actual handful really getting into collector's hands, I forsee a BD version that is the same price that some will buy and others will scoff at and people going through the same damn thing again for the MK5 1:2 Maquette and War Machine 1:2 Maquette (predictions based off of the CEO's comments) in a couple of year's time because the 1:2 Maquettes usually seem like the heavy hitters at the anchor of a line.

I'm getting one from an AD but I'm fully expecting this to be a serious pain in the ass from history's past not to mention that my luck with Iron Man SSC pieces has been so fantastic that I'm fully expecting it to run out here when it matters the most.
