Yes, the gun belt is backward. The bullets should be on the other side of the trio belt. It was correct on the first release.

Is the gun belt on the Iminime upside down? I've noticed before that it fastens the opposite way, and the bullet loops are on the wrong side:

Redman got the belt correct, but not the holster, since they closed it at the bottom:

Also appears that Redman got Angel Eyes' revolver correct: a Remington 1858 New Army, whereas I think Iminime gave him a Colt 1851 Navy.

The Redmans also have differently tailored outfits. They aren't as identical as they first appeared. Though they did obviously recast the sculpts.

Also someone on here said that it seems like it's just the original buyers who are complaint the most. This is strongly not the case. In my opinion the artist are the most angry. Denny already publicly called out Redman. There's been some artist that have completely stopped releasing runs due to this. I think I heard the Indy will be MJs last public release. I personally don't care about the value. I buy my figures cause I love the art and characters. The reason I'm so sick of recasting is that we could eventually not have these amazing releases anymore, due to artist backing away from the community.

But , how so my friend ? My first point when I joined into this discussion was : is Denny (Iminime ) somehow in collaboration ? Denny has not joined into the discussion to decry this product. All that's been shown in a one line sentence that was supposedly by Denny and removed from Redmans FB page. With redgard to the original limited hatless head there was a very small amount produced.
Can anyone say how many ?

So whoever gave the original to that first recaster was in a position of trust or privilege
I almost presumed with regard to the vinyl painted recasts coming out of Asia was that Iminime said "F.... It, if someone else is doing it I might as well release these in mass market"
Btw I sent a PM to the guy on OSW who put up the REDMAN post. ( I presume he's rep ). I asked if IMinime or Denny was involved. To be honest I don't expect a response. But I tried.

That was some nonsense Odell cooked up for the purpose of trying to smear someone he didn't get along with. It didn't come out until well after folks received their DX figures.

There seems to be a real sense of entitlement amongst some collectors. Like any other walk of life, if you can't afford something, or it's sold out, then...i'm sorry...you simply go without. You don't just wander off to the shady end of town and have a quick word with Gordon the stolen goods guy to see if he can get his grubby little hands on any for dirt cheap. That's basically what buying recasts amounts to for many people here.

Yeah, its kinda of sickening really. I Brought up this exact same question on OSR, and damn .... i got chewed to bits by all the recast supporters!

OK... unless,something is new since yesterday, he hasn't even addressed it on his own FB page ????????....So for the moment , I'll agree with you guys and say,he's not in any way collaborating with REDMAN. He still has numerous outlets to express concern. I SURE WOULD BE GRIPING, if such a blatant ripoff of mymwork was purpertrated. He has the forum, the Company site (Are there two ?), and his FB page. BUT No. Nothing. So it then looks like he's not all that concerned. Tossing it up to the nature of the briskness (beast) . Saying "Oh well" (.not even that). Moving on. it is you guys raising the ruckus.
Am I missing something ?

Btw... Are the Josie Wales and Bounty Hunter using Scott VElvet Mornings sculpts or Iminime ? Or something different ?

He knows that the people who are following this thread, his own Facebook page and the Iminime website and email service will know what is really happening. He can't get much more attention if Redman are censoring him from their FB page. And he wouldn't post on the front page of the website anyway because Blondie was a secret project.

No, he shouldnt have to post. But why wouldnt he ? Yes there are hundreds of recasts of Blondie (apparently selling very well). But this is not merely the homemade recast of a head . This is the WHOLE TRIO !!! in full costume.

I Have no,agenda. Just for sake of discussion and wonderment. I don't mean to disparage Denny's reputation, if that's how it's being taken. But, as I've said if he is not involved , at best he just doesn't care. He's moved on to his next project being small run customs, Iminime or a a larger mass market project. This issue does not seem as important to him as it does to you guys.

I've been knowing Denny for about 3 years now. We had many talks on FB. And I would know what he looked like if I saw him. But no I never drank beers with him. But I have close friends on here who have. But even if I never talked to him or if I didn't have friends that knew him personally, I would know that he wouldn't be ok with this Redman situation. Seeing his comments and dedication to his company all these years proves how much he cares and the person he is. He always goes out his way to give the best pieces possible. You obviously don't know that much about him, and are trying to bring the man down on something you know nothing about. Just because he's not commenting on a forum or FB he's blocked from means he's ok with this BS?? I think not!
