Well I am not a huge accessory person haha, definitely want better quality outfits, didn't know Angel Eyes and Tuco even had sculpt revisions, but you are right I understand the increase due to those things, its just like others say its getting harder and harder to hand over $450+ out of nowhere, and not seeing what that money went to till 6months later. These of course are all my personal opinions and I am sure Tuco and Angel Eyes are going to be awesome, I just can't afford them now haha.

Ya, I need to save up for Lenny next month as he's definitely my top priority. Maybe if I could pay for Tuco/Angel Eyes in another 2-3 months, no prob.

Almost like a layaway for members who have bought nearly every release haha.

It's more that these releases come hard and fast. It'd work better if we had the tentative release schedule for the rest of the year or if it was set up where you could just order the custom figure after the release (no edition size)... but in the end... the problem is that Iminime has gotten damn good at craftsmanship and production capability.

All in all... a damn good problem to have. Just sucks having to miss releases. Fight Club duo, Star Trek duo, Kill Bill duo, and other wonderful solo releases sprinkled in. With the exception of Rainman H&C sets, I don't think I'm even buying any other 1/6 figures lol.

I must say that I'd love it if these guys were made to order; pick them up whenever you want. When you look at how all of us have responded to a Blondie re-release, I think it shows just how much we care about edition size. I was talking to someone the other day, and I told them how much one of those Rainman figures sold for, and they asked what I'd do if my Cowboy was worth that much.

I told them "the same thing I'd do if it were only worth 20 bucks: nothing," because, at the end of the day, I care about having a physical representation of memories of my favorite films standing in front of me. I took The Cowboy out of the box and I didn't look at the certificate, the first thing I did was pull that foam insert out; poncho, picture, and all piled on top.

I think, iminime is way better priced than rainman. Yes the headsculpts are painted by who's who and there is a fan club etc for rainman, but here there are full figures that are coming for slightly over the new hot toys costs. Also, these are iconic characters. I missed the blondie and regret it like anything, however anyone who tells me blondie was the main character in the movie. I disagree a bit. For all practical purposes tuco stole the show in the movie. Infact if i am unable to get the trio set one figure to own would be tuco. As far as angel eye if he is coming with the smoke pipe etc, what a figure that is and he did more acting with expressions than what todays actors do with a 1000 words.

I am not a completionist by anyway however this line would be so incomplete with any of the trio missing. Dont get me wrong, these definitely dont come cheap, but what does? . I just cancelled 2 of my hot toys pre orders with hope to get all 3 when the trio goes up.

Didn't you say before that there was no point in you getting Tuco and Angel Eyes without Blondie, but now you say Tuco is the main character, so why not just get him?

Also have you ever seen a Rainman figure inhand? Totally not bragging but as someone who has 7iminime figures and 6rainmam figures, his figures are pretty unbelievable, don't get me wrong I love my iminime figures and their current prices are great but Rainman figures are held in such high regard and prices for a reason.

May be i miss communicated there, i meant i would buy tuco and pick up blondie elsewhere if i could. Would still want angel eyes as like i said that all 3 are needed for me but tuco is by no means a "side character" is all i meant. Sorry if it came out otherwise. Thats the reason i have been breaking my head to nail a trio set... And would still aim for trio or none...

No i haven't. First one will be h and c cabbie, but its for 500 plus for just h and c. And i am sure i will love it. But i can't justify paying 1200 plus for one full dx figure. Or rather again, I would love to justify but i am sure i cannot afford 1200 for one figure. I could do 1200 for 3 or 2 if i go very far. I can buy 5 hot toys figures for that cost and not like they are bad and i dont buy them so my whole metrics goes for a toss at that price point. I saw ur collection pictures and that is a dream. But for me it will remain a dream albeit...

Bottom line tuco price point is justifiable. Angel eyes, the cost could be higher cause of accesories and they matter too. So, i think its not very bad. I am wondering where the trio set price will land.

Really can't say if cloths and heads will be sold separate. Maybe yes, because for Blondie it was that way. Wake is the man for asking that question.

But may I tell you something? I tried to buy cloths and head of one of the space monkeys figures and I realized that it was almost the same price as buying the full set. Just like 50 bucks difference. So I don't know what is better.. Buy only cloths and head or... Spend a little more and get the fullset??

Anyone who wanted the first Cowboy full set figure had ample chance to get one, if they were trying to buy at the time it was released. The DX was the one folks had more difficulty obtaining, and though VIPs had an advantage, some VIPs couldn't get one of those, either.
