got my outfit set in, got 2 figures now with the dx sculpt, battlegar boots, stevo gun and belt, the poncho strings are different than the dx release? my dx has beaige color, the outfit set has white, just a note,. i found a great hat in my parts box that i put in his hand. and gave a piece of hickory, lol...not permanent at all...i dusted up his pants a little also, ..and i also threw my velvet blondie up on a horse form fun, found one cheap on ebay $68 bucks....i was going to use for my hot toy planet of the apes. but changed my mind for now.....just love taking pics of these....

The DX sculpt is great to have I guess, you can recreate Blondie from when he is in the confederate prison camp, if you can get hold of a confederate uniform or during the shootout with Angel Eyes henchmen, he does not wear his hat in that scene.

Ok... here's what to expect...

the Cowboy WILL be available again as part of the GBU Trio Collection. The price of the colleciton is $1550. Boots will be resin. The prices for Tuco and Angel Eyes have been tentatively set for $450 each that sets the price for Cowboy at a premium $650. The edition will be extremely limited. between 10-20.

The price on the new sets will be higher due to increased outfit and accessories production costs. This is accross the board. Not a CS increase and unlike some people believe not AT ALL tied to CS involvement. The fact is labor costs are rising, Denny has needed to increase his pricing to remain profitable. Consider how much more detailed figures are now than they were in Iminime's early days. These GBU characters have intricate tailoring and will be lightly weathered.

Denny is also working on a box that will accomodate the whole set.

***The above prices are tentative and subject to change... but i think they are mostly accurate

$1550.00 for 3 customs of this calibre is a pretty good deal (plus who knows how much Blondie is/would be going for nowadays on secondary market -- not aware of anyone selling but I'm assuming it would be at a premium). Lot of customs are going for $1200.00 per, so this set's pretty attractive. Just not a big enough GBU fan to justify it. Glad people are going to get another crack at Blondie, though.

What happens when Hot Toys or Sideshow or Bros Production or whoever aquires the license commissions Trevor to sculpt the head and hires on some of the other artizans to make the official character from the movie we all know and love ? What happens to the "value" then ?
