Re: [iminime] / Trevor Grove - The Cowboy ~ SCULPTS REVEALED ~
Thanks man, I truly hope that feelings are positive overall, and the current attitude towards the boots is just overshadowing that.
The gun rig is actually a combination of rigs from battlegeartoys. They were special ordered from the same dye batch in order to work together, and the holster was modified to sit higher up on the hip.
The tweak to the soles will need to be done by Denny rather than SMcG at this point. It will be time consuming, but I'm hoping he will go for it. Basically, I'm suggesting he sand down the heel, and heat/reshape the arch to compensate if necessary. If it can't be done on a production level, I'll certainly brave the waters with my own set so people can follow suit. I'll definitely let everyone know as soon as I hear back from Denny on it, either way. Any weathering on the boots will likely come down to the individual collector.
You did a bang up job dude! I know that you poured your heart into this and it's not easy being the middle man coordinating with a bunch of folks via email. I love the set and it looks great. Any improvements are always welcome but nonetheless I'm all over it come tonight
BTW, who made the belt? I thought they were credited somewhere but I can't remember.
Also, when you speak of the tweak to the sole and heel of the boot, is this something that is going to be done by SMcG? If so can you update us with what the results of the fixes could be?
