Not sure if I will see this in theatres or not. Looks interesting. Like Heny Cavill. Like the director. But the reviews aren't very good.

local paper gave it 1 star. :lol

I can live with a 3 star review, but I find my tastes usually go along with the reviewers.

I don't watch anything based on reviews. If there is something that interests me, I'll watch it. 5 star or no stars.

what typically "interests" me is quality films of any genre.I'd rather watch a 4 star western than a 1 star sci fi and I'd rather watch a 4 star sci fi than a 1 star western for example. My tastes are so eclectic and my time and money so limited I usually don't risk the trash. I'll probably see it on Netflix unless the fan reviews come out much stronger.

Just got back from watching this. I enjoyed it...which to me was a little surprising. I went to the panel during SDCC and was completed turned off by most of the actors during the panel. That left a sour taste in my mouth in regards to the movie.

But a friend called this morning and asked if I wanted to go see it. So I went along for the ride and I'm glad I did.

I judge movies based on my ability to suspend belief and day to day stuff for a couple hours and enjoy myself. And that's what happened today. Does it have flaws? Of course, but most movies do. But in the end I had fun and enjoyed it and that's really what matters....to me.

Just finished the movie. I loved it.

The imagery was incredible, the fight scenes were a spectacle, especially the final battle. Cavill was a great hero. I'll be looking forward him as Superman. Mickey Rourke was brutal, not a nice person at all. Great villain. Good score too.

A few parts dragged, that's really all I disliked.

Watched it last night (in 3D) and it was a really good film. On par with 300 defo. Would have been better to watch it in 2D but that's my personal preference. Great acting by Mickey Rourke as a very brutal King Hyperion and Henry Cavill was perfect as Theseus, I can see him play Superman without no probs and omfg Freida Pinto was awesome!

Would have been better to see more of the gods in action but I guess the ending scene leads on to a second film, which will be much more epic !

I liked this too. Pretty ____ing fun.

I tried to see it in 2D, but the print kept turning yellow, so I had to see it in 3D. Which was alright. 2D probably would've been better.

Sans for the ass scene, and the final battle.

Very pretty movie though.

It was alright I guess, but the storyline was meh! and the characters were pretty shallow apart from Mickey Rourke who was really good thanks to his character being a good boo, hiss baddie. Best bit is the battle at the end, but expect to wade through a lot of dull clichéd plot to get there. Henry Cavill did a good job with what he was given, which was not much, so I am still happy he will be Superman.

the only difference from the Spartans in 300 and most superheroes, is a thin layer of tight fitting spandex... :lol
