Who ever knocked the base, that is the best base on a Buffy/Angel character I have seen to date. Well, not true. Love the Diamond Diorama of Buffy dusting a Vampire. That has a lot of great detail and is a solid piece.
But that is a beautiful base, and now a beautiful custom statue.
That base is from Steve Varner's 12" Angel statue. I own it. #40 and signed by Mr. Varner himself. I would love to have it repainted as I am sure it would become the best Angel statue ever. The sculpt is phenomenal, but I find the paint apps lacking. Get a great artist to paint his face and bring out that amazing sculpt more, and you'll see David Boreanaz a lot. In fact, I will! It's done folks! I am gonna get my Varner signed Angel repainted!
