I'm curious what they'll include with him and how much it will cost.

Considering he doesn't really have any accessories or any different type of clothing than his suit and cape, I don't see him having a high price tag.
I imagine he'll be the usual $300/$500 split or roughly around that. It's what Inart has been doing for all of their figures regardless if one figure has a few extra trinkets or not. It's just their baseline in pricing from the looks of it.

I would say it's very similar to the JnD one being idealized in that way. It's not painted very well like you say. I've seen a repainted one and it's looked so much better. I'd love to own one. I didn't relealise it wasn't licensed.
Yea I can see that for sure. The paintwork on the JND definitely help it out more, so I'll take your word for it that the resinworx one also looked better when properly painted :duff

I still think the Sideshow PF could've been really good had it not been made of plastic, had better final paint, lower "belt" and a better cape. I had planned on getting one to totally overhaul, but then JND announced theirs so I just kicked that Idea to the curb :lol It's still in the back of my mind as a project I'd like to one day tackle though as I think I could make really awesome

Yea, not much in the way of accessories for Superman no matter which one it is. It's almost like a Clark Kent figure would be the best accessory. But, the obvious is a secondary heat vision sculpt at the very least. Maybe two capes, one drape one wired. They could also include the manhole hole he rips in half to destroy Batman's sound weapons (not sure what those were actually called-sonic emitters?) like the Mezco figure. They could go the HT route and include the Kryptonite though I never understand including that when that's his weakness, but hey accessories. If they're not going to make Armored Batman, then they could include the spear since he's the last one to use it to kill Doomsday.

Here you go. It's not perfect but I like it. Don't rate the angry head sculpt though:

I've only just recently sold my PF. The plastic never bothered me, you can't tell unless you pick it up. It had a custom face paint. I had looked for a cape at some point with no joy so I stuck some wire in it. I tried positioning the belt lower and had plans to stretch it out and glue the belt lower. Even though people don't rate the Wetas statues, they both looked miles better so I sold the PF.

Spear, Kryptonite, heat vision sculpt... they can increase the price with these lol

Also as others mentioned, Idk how "glued" hairstyle can give us access to the eye mechanism. Don't be shocked if this boy comes with a sculpted wig only.

Cut face, wet hair, replaceable speared chest symbol, manhole covers, a pile of rusty radiators, a bathroom sink, and a huge ship being pulled across the ice diorama.

I highly doubt there will be a rooted option on this. The length of his hair and actual hairstyle would need a LOT of product and care to maintain.

Never say never though.

One concern is, will slicked back rooted hair look good if the back of the head comes off?
Very good point.

At this stage, InArt has not released a figure without a rooted option, so I can only assume it is a "requirement" to some degree (like movable eyes) of their product.

This figure will be a good gauge on whether or not all future products will have a rooted option.

Thanks for the vid! Looks a lot nicer there with the repaint but it also accentuates the very narrow waist. If that was a bit wider, I think that would've helped it be a little closer to Cavill's physique. I think a fabric cape would also really help that one. And yea, I think that angry headsculpt is enough to tell you why they decided to upscale the HT head instead of making there own for the neutral head

As for the Sideshow PF: Yea the plastic didn't bother me as far as weight is concerned. It's that there was some muscle definition loss in the body when converting to plastic. When you look at the original proto that was made of polystone, you can see more muscle definition coming through the suit, specifically in the abs. I've had to take two apart before when getting a replacement from sideshow when I originally bought one, so I know the potential's there. It's just a lot of work :lol I was going to commission either Jaxon or Unreal to make me a 1/4 cape for it. Weta's is ok especially when repainted like I believe you did with yours if I remember correctly, but it's also double the original retail price of the the Sideshow PF.

It will pretty much look exactly like this.

I just hope they don't do the hair like that. Hot Toys did the hair much like this which is from the promotional images where it's a bit longer and styled a bit bigger. But in the actual movie, it was a bit more clean cup and slicked back like below:

If they put the same type of product in the hair that they did for Joker, the styling will be a none issue. And ppl like Shane Poole (OneSixthSalon) and other's have been able to root the short hair on the Gladiator Thor figures with the magnetic feature and you can't see any sort of seam line, so I think it's possible. It'll just be a matter of if it's actually worth it. I'm sure whatever InArt decides will be fine though.

IIRC, Queen Studios will have a booth at SDCC. This could very well be revealed then.
Yes Queen and InArt will be at SDCC this year (though I believe they're skipping NYCC). InArt previously mentioned that they were holding off on reveals until the summer cons. If that holds true, I would imagine that more than just this will be shown there.

They should be showing Michael Jackson, probably this, and maybe one more...possibly Paul Atreides?

Did he ever have a scene with a smile or even a slight one as Superman in this movie? I would like that as an alternate headsculpt if there was. All we've been getting are angry or stern faces. Superman is known to have a positive persona and that can reflect on a slightly smiling headsculpt.

The opening scene when he saves Lois-He smirks when she puts her arms down and nods giving him the all clear to take out the war lord. He also smiles at Lois telling her that she's his world right before he's about to fly off with the spear in hand to kill Doomsday. Those are the ones that come to mind right away. Can't remember if he smiles when he goes to his mom in suit asking for advice.

Nice. I would definitely want headsculpts based on those.

I seriously doubt we’d get a smiling head sculpt. I do hope we get a heat vision one though.

If their plan is to only make the Trinity and not go further into the Snyderverse, I would think/hope they’re all from BvS since that’s the first place we saw all 3 together
The concern comes from them recently stating they’ll be mixing and matching from BVS and JL.
Hopefully they just mean they’ll do suits from both like regular BVS Batman and then JL Tactical suit.

Should I sell my justice league Superman now.....I dont know!!!!

Mine’s already on eBay. No need for it now. Gotta get the funds in for the InArt version asap!

They might make Cavilles sculpt without a neck so you could possibly access the eye joysticks with a tool from the base of the head without any removable patch of hair.
We’ll see what they come up with. Nothing on Harry Potter stuck out as a garish break in the natural flow of his hair.

They'll be attending the Toy Fair in China during the time around NYCC.

It would be great to see more reveals.
