Maybe I'm too easily impressed but this figure still looks incredible to me.
He looks pretty damn good, good enough I'm not nitpicking every little thing. I wish his shoulders were a little more broad, but even so the body looks much more natural than Hot Toys.

I'm curious if someone could get the arms to sit even closer to the body as that may give him a broader shoulder look. Don't need to sit flush, just maybe a tad closer, as the triceps and lat size would push your arms out somewhat from your torso.

On Hot Toys bodies you could sometimes push the shoulders down and out somewhat, I wonder if InArt bodies are similar.

Just got my invoice from Gundamit, so others who ordered from them should be getting it as well.

Sheesh this and The Batman invoices back to back :thud:
Yeah Kit bombarded me. I went from only having the joker 2 pack rooted, to having every Inart released in 3 weeks. lol Inart needs to learn how a roadmap works.

There’s various factors at play here, but it depends on when you ordered and what batch you’re in for each figure. You’d also need to take into account the fact that certain releases have more units than others: Harry a low run vs others, for instance. For people who consistently order earlier on/day 1, their invoices would have been spaced out more so. So you may have not done that, hence the stacking.

Either way, I personally have no issue with INART staggering production and working on multiple projects simultaneously. I’d rather have that then to wait for the z figure to come out after the x and y figures are completely released/shipped out.

That my major nitpicking the shoulders.
I find them to give a too narrow vibe.
The body has great proportions for a super healthy Crossfit man but for my superheroes figures I'm looking for a certain esthetic, the heroic silhouette, the V shape. Inart body looks very accurate as it is to most moments in the movie but in some Cavill looks huge and that the vibe I'm looking for.

Suit looks easy to remove so I'm sure customizers will make great mods.

As for having the arms closer to the body the only solution , that was a mod but the was applied by HT on the black superman was to shave the interior of the serratus muscles.
Basically make a ''bed'' for the biceps.
When done right you still keep the v shape from the front, and from the sides the suit/arms hide it.

As for the size, one thing I've done to all my Supes since BVS, was to give them longer feet Pegs. Out of the box all Supes look stumpy because of the huge thighs.
Longer Ankles give way better proportions.
Contrary to MOS that needs actually shorter pegs since the ankles are already longer than the ones used on BVS JLA ZSJLA.

If they were established, I would agree with you mostly. If one goes through any Inart thread or socials they are not exactly hitting the mark on QC for every line which is the problem. Dropping 5 figures at once while cool for the shelf makes it difficult to focus on the little things to build a brand. They need to earn trust through quality and consistency (hitting timed releases).

Not everyone can drop $3,000 at a hat to get everything at a moments notice and while they may get a pass this time for being new it will hurt them in the long run releasing delayed figures and logjam together. People want consistency where they put their money.

Niice- and, as far as I'm aware, this is the first report around these parts of anyone receiving an InArt invoice from Gundamit- unless there's mention in the HP thread.

Looks like they get stock in a timely manner, which was my only real concern. I wasn't aware of their typically great InArt prices until after Superman popped up but I'd already placed my order elsewhere.

I think Paul will be my first InArt from Gundamit- and the Joker 4 pack will be my first cancellation!

They’re doing just fine, imo.

Took a moment to peruse the box of goodies. Its an ok release, the suit is very thin so it bunches easily and its a little work to set and forget. The main sculpt is very nice, not a fan of the angry heat vision due to paint which is lacking and he just looks off. Cape needs water treatment on the sides it sticks up and wont lay flat out of the box. Having him in hand now the legs are not nearly as lean photos make it out to be which is good, the body is a improvement over hot toys for sure. Solid release but anyone grabbing him at a premium may be disappointed.

I think I have a QC issue as well on the S (hope) shield. There's missed paint on the S, it was all gold and painted red, you can see on the pics its missed light spray on the middle left, thought it was light at first but zoomed in and its missed paint.

Looks good!!! Sad their quality control is nonexistent, basically everyone is facing some kind of imperfections which sucks, as these figures aren’t cheap and we go through so much to get them. I hope you can fix it. I don’t even know if they’ll send replacement for that as in this case they need to send entire suit.

Received mine today and just got it out of the box for a quick inspection. At first glance no obvious quality issues, I’m not seeing any flaws. Again just taking a quick look though.

Honestly, I’m a bit underwhelmed by this figure. Slightly regretting selling my Hot Toys JL Superman to make room for this guy. The likeness of the InArt head sculpt is pretty good. The skin tone is more accurate (paler) than the HT head sculpt. The paint application has a bit more nuance than I was seeing in a lot of photos. But maybe due to Cavill’s pale complexion it seems a bit lacking in detail to me. However that could be because of the way Cavill’s skin actually looks, if that makes sense.

Even though the likeness to the Hot Toys figure is more stylized by comparison, I think I actually like it better. And that bright blue and red of the JL suit really popped. The shoulders for the HT figure were too big, yes. But that still kind of worked in the same stylized way as the head sculpt and the bright blue and red.

The suit of the InArt figure isn’t as shiny as I was hoping. In a lot of shots in the film the suit has a slick almost wet looking sheen to it. In normal lighting that effect from the film doesn’t come across to me, at least for the first inspection in-hand.

But on the other hand this InArt figure is undeniably by far more screen accurate. It’s still a fine figure. It just lacks shelf presence to me.

I will sell this figure without hesitation if Hot Toys makes a JL Superman 2.0 (red and blue suit) that improves the head sculpt.
