There’s some good but there’s also a lot bad here.

The reds on the entire suit are way too bright.

The yellows should be a bit of brass metallic

The blue should be much darker, like a navy blue.

Boots are wrong: they gave him BvS boots instead of MoS

As @T8OO said, terrible idea to go for those shoulders from the HT BvS/JL bodies

Torso looks good though the whole body is missing the black shading

Thighs are a good size without going oversized like the HT BvS/JL bodies

Screen printing of the black designs looks pretty heavily done and is missing the finesse of the original

Chest \S/ is badly done

Cape looks decent but needs to be longer and darker. The sharpness of the shoulder pleats are nice.

Not bad for what will probably be a cheap custom to make if one needs an MoS figure in the collection. But, it’s not great by any means and would need A LOT of work to bring it up to snuff.

Agreed! Any idea why there is a picture of an actual MoS Hot Toys on a BvS body and boots at the end? Maybe that's what it was based on.

I also acknowledge that an action figure/doll cannot be expected to replicate an actual human being - as in covering all bases.

We can get pretty close tho.

I too appreciate the effort but I think the difference is quite underwhelming. Something I've never understood is why the companies and the modders don't exactly translate the measurements from character to figure. It's one of the simplest things you can do for accuracy and yet we get huge shoulders or stumpy short legs.

Ive heard that these folks dont really watch the movies that the figures they work on. Which would explain that atrocious Reeve superman.

Really took me a while to spot the differences there.

It’s an improvement for sure but one that’s so marginal I couldn’t personally deem it worthy of the effort required to implement.

I’d imagine in anything but a museum pose, all the little adjustments will be negligible.

This reminds me of the tactic I used with clients asking for minuscule changes. Leave it a few weeks and send with same image back to them...signed off every time.

There’s a musician who did the same thing. He had a switch that he would flick on when a client wanted a different sound. It did absolutely nothing but he would flick it on in front of them and it would give them the idea that something changed. He said he got away with just doing what he did in the first place so many times because of it. Reminds me of that.

Hot toys custom one look great, I was hoping that the Inart version was going to be that but our of the box.
I still considering canceling my PO and put 150$ in the custom work. But then the HS are very cool, and maybe some customizers will do wonders with this one.


So glad there's finally a ko of HT supes body.
I would have also liked the possibility to buy just the body not chrome as it's really the best heroic proportioned body. Shoulders and forearms are wrong as too big (funny Inart one are too small) bulge missing but easy fix, the legs are perfect.

I like the suit too.
The zip goes up just like the Inart so with a little Dremel you can put a hole and use the Inart Stand (I will probably make copies and use that on a bendable HT flight stand)
No neck mod to do, the kuffs are part of the suit now.
Seeing what byart has done in have no doubt this suit will actually be better than the original hot toys.
The black lines and yellow were already wrong on hot toys, easy mods for those who are bothered
They should definitely fix the boots, keep the mos design but fabric and darker cape.

Don't blow $400 on a figure you're clearly already unhappy with man. Other things to put that towards. Seriously.

It's why I'm considering it seriously but I do love the HS.
I think the angry sculpt will look great on the HT blackSuit.
And we know sometimes there's a world of difference once in hand.
I don't want to see it displayed somewhere, regret letting it go and track one at aftermarket prices.
The fact that it will also be easy to resell in case I don't want to keep is reassuring.
That and that I don't have much stuff in preorder helps too

Doesn’t look good unfortunately. Proportions are off and suit doesn’t look any better either.

Still looks miles better than the Gunn Supes suit

I wish y’all were on Facebook. On Facebook I’m treated like the devil and mocked for wanting more accuracy and I’m tame in comparison to you guys lol (while I don’t always agree, I appreciate how critical you guys are/can be to an extent).

If I can personally be happy (yes, I settled) with Hot Toys Mace Windu, I can certainly be happy with INART Superman, despite its own inaccuracies.
