I really find it hard to believe that Inart would listen to a YouTuber, regardless of how many subs he has. It's such a terrible idea, I mean is putting a whole magnet plate on the base too expensive or something? Something to do with shipping weight?

In suppose that sliding mechanism must be more expensive in production and assembley. Makes it even more dumb.

He actually did give them the idea. They have had him as a guest at a few of their events.

Decided to keep my order for this and see what it’s like in-hand.

^ It's pretty nice in hand dude. I think you will be pleased with it, assuming of course you don't get a lemon. You probably won't like the base magnets though.
