If you use one of the YouTube codes and pay in full, it's $342.I don’t usually deal with any customs issues so I’m definitely considering ordering direct from IA
It's a lot of very intricate pieces though, I think going sculpted for them is a good move. All of those straps and red ropes would be a nightmare if they were actual fabric.Idk this isn't doing it for me the way I expected.
Feels very plastic-y. A lot of stuff that could be tailored is just sculpted/molded.

And I STILL want InArt’s figure. Fans of WuKong are eating good!
They’re making a life size silicone bust of Wukong instead. It’s a little strange they’re not staying consistent with a scale for their statue line. I assume they’ll make a 1/3 Wukong at some point though.i just saw they're making a 1/3 statue of bajie, but no wukong??
I mean you don’t need to be a gamer to know who Wukong is to be fair.I’m not much of a gamer (don’t even own a console), so don’t know this character/source, but can’t deny this is cool. I could watch the cutscenes/game movie, but I fear I’d end up wanting him
That’s how I got into Dune… because of INART lol
I think for me, one needs to play the game (or watch the game “movie”) to establish a connection to the character. That’s what I meant by that I don’t know who he is. But really, I only ever heard of this character specifically because of INART.I mean you don’t need to be a gamer to know who Wukong is to be fair.
I think they mean he’s one of the most famous characters in literature, at least outside of the western world.I think for me, one needs to play the game (or watch the game “movie”) to establish a connection to the character. Hmm, well I’m in the US and hadn’t heard of the IP until INART showcased their prototype a while ago. I don’t think I live under a rock, maybe? Perhaps it’s cause I’m not exposed to anime much or never watched things like DBZ?I think they mean he’s one of the most famous characters in literature, at least outside of the western world.
Journey to the West is a massively popular story, especially in China, and it’s influenced a lot of modern stories like Dragonball Z and a lot of anime.
I’d guess Sun Wukong is almost a household name for a large part of the eastern world, which is why the game sold like gangbusters.
It’s a pretty awesome and wild story if you want to get into it and it’s been adapted into a million movies/tv shows and other adaptions.Hmm, well I’m in the US and hadn’t heard of the IP until INART showcased their prototype a while ago. But that’s totally fair! I love characters/properties like this with extensive lore and history. I bet I’d get into it if I read up on it, too.
This was the Haoyutoys release, right? I thought the dragon king armor sets released awhile ago!! I almost forgot I had the Wonderfest 2024 version on PO, still waiting for shippingI still have this guy on PO

I have the Deluxe set of the Uman fig on order too actually The throne is actually sold as a separate accessory pack, so it's pretty easy/cheap to get without committing to the cost of the whole figureYeah, that’s Haoyutoys.
Did anybody order the fully rooted Uman figures?
Some of the accessories look like they’d be really cool with the InArt figure too, like the tiger throw throne.
