InArt Phoenix Joker 1/6

A diorama here or there isn’t too bad I suppose, I make an exception for a few 1:6 vehicles and both armories from TDK trilogy. However if you buy say 50 figures are you going to prefer using a diorama with the majority of them? How many InArt Joker boxes do you want to store away? I’m glad JND is focusing on the figure itself more than anything else, as that’s what we’re buying these things for. If what we’re seeing here is an all in deluxe version then you bet it’ll be bigger than the Ledger box.

one reason why im not in love with that Murray + curtain dio is because that box is gonna probably be bloated with the other 2-3 figures as well (its probably destined one way or another but box size can be minimized). i stopped statue collecting because of the boxes and went into 1/6 because they're more manageable-sized boxes. i still haven't properly found a nice spot to put the inart ledger box lol the 1/3 boxes i have take up a good chunk of garage space

yea, exactly. Part of me wants to throw away all of the art boxes. The only thing stopping me is the thought of picking up and moving. I’m definitely going to throw away the Tumbler box once my moducase shipment arrives, that box is massive. Can only wonder how big the Jazzinc 89 box will be. It just seems like a major chore to store boxes full of accessories I’ll never use.

yep, im pretty much in the same predicament or even the prospect of selling but these days i rarely ever sell. honestly made a rule to myself to be extra selective that whatever i buy, i intend to keep but plans never work out, but im still adamant on sticking with that because selling is honestly such a hassle. ill figure a place to store the boxes but i cant be bothered rn. the top of my moducases is a landfill of hot toy boxes lol

That mime base is huge. I gave up on the dramatic bases and have gone the route of clear acrylic bases. They’re classy, uniform, and from a distance you can’t see them. I feel like the focal point should always be on the character as opposed to creating a scene, but that’s me. I’m also in the middle of transitioning from detolfs to moducase DF120s, so the less space a figure takes, the better. I plan on having everything well spaced apart as I feel crammed moducases kill the aesthetic.

When did you order your Moducases, and have you received any yet? I ordered 8 DF cases not that long ago in terms of Moduspace orders (4-5 months ago). Hoping the shipping time is improving and the expected time for the month I ordered is close.

You’re ahead of me. I purchased mine during their Black Friday sale. I still need to order a few more, I went with the DF1801 and still need 3 more DF120s. I’d expect a delay and perhaps email them once your delivery window is imminent.

BigBreda stated earlier today that the Phoenix 3 pack should go up for preorder by end of January. It will consist of Arthur, bathroom Joker, red suit Joker, and the hospital clown headsculpt. Possibly 2 dioramas, maybe 3, but looks like one of them will be double sided usage. Should cost around $1300-1600 USD before any shipping costs added. Maybe looking closer to $2000 USD after shipping and other fees added.

I'm disappointed, I really thought InArt would give me a good Phoenix Joker for my display but I don't want 4 versions for $2000. And I doubt finding a loose "red" Joker will be possible for a reasonable amount. So looks like Phoenix won't be making my shelf after all... at least not until Joker 2 comes out and maybe they relent on the merchandise.

Honestly, I would not spend $899 on a red-suit Joker with Murray stage, chair and curtain, no matter how amazing it comes out. I like Phoenix, but he's no Nicholson or Ledger.

If it is a 3-pack I'll pick it up provided it clocks in around $1K. I really only want the red suit. I have the Toys Era clown costume, and while this one does blow that figure away, it's not a must have. The bathroom dance figure also looks amazing, but I'm not as locked on to that scene. I would have preferred it if InArt had swapped either the clown costume or bathroom dance figure for his non-makeup civilian look.

He said it would come with the coat as well. So basically add on the extra accessories to the bathroom Joker and change out the head sculpt. He said from his source he thinks a lot of this is pretty much set, but doesn't mean something couldn't ultimately change prior.

Man, I like Joaquin’s Joker, but I can’t justify $2,000 to ultimately display one of those figures. I hope there’ll be multiple options - akin to their Ledger Joker.

Who wants 3-4 Phoenix Jokers? Two is more than enough unless this is your favorite movie. And the dancing clown might as well have been a statue since there's not much posing variety available with the closed eyes.

Red suit and Train killer would be a nice 2-pack -- the only way I'd display two of these Jokers. But there's not a good head for Train killer.

Yep, I would be down for a two pack for sure. I definitely don't need the entire set of them. For the ultimate fan of this movie, this will be amazing. If this was a $2000 set for Harry Potter or LOTR, then it would be a no brainer for me.

Feel the same way. Red suit would be nice to own but at these prices and that tailoring, no thanks. I’d be willing to get it if it were as well done as the Iris suit. Unfortunately, it’s a long ways away from that. Not on the same level as Ledger & Nicholson.

This really should be the standard of suit that it comes as. Their current one is just not good enough.

Same feeling as others, I can't really justify paying that much for the want of getting that bathroom scene version. May as well just buy the 1/3 that it comes by that point.

At first I was set on getting this, and I'm not knocking the others, they're very good, but I just don't feel the need myself for the hospital scene look when that is the beginning transition of the Bathroom scene - so that part of the film is really wrapped up with the bathroom scene look. And then the Suit look, well you get that look for the suit... and the suit doesn't cut it in my opinion.

Maybe they'll improve them, though, I don't think this has even gone up for pre-order yet.

Word is it’ll go up for preorder by the end of January. I just don’t buy into padding out expensive releases with accessories, dioramas, and the like, when the steak of the meal is so lackluster. The red suit hardly looks like much of an upgrade from all of the third party Phoenix suits currently.
