as of now, I'm almost 100% certain ill work with 2ouble to get red suit and arthur fleck made for a buddy and myself. may try to hunt for bathroom joker from inart down the road and carnival since no one might want them

head sculpts needs more updating from a buddy of mine but he's waiting for me to get a resin printer so we can avoid recasters

I have the gesus/ropa set and I loathe it. bad tailoring, material and inaccuracies on the button.

It was either CF or eBay, I was pissed at the sequel and didn’t pay it any mind at the time.

The Gesus set is on CF though.
When is 2ouble planning that?
I’d have him make red suit priority.

It’s a shame nobody seems to come through
for you this many years on from the film.

Canceling and foregoing
the ongoing headache is worth the $300 this time.

I had to cancel the JazzInc ‘89 Batmobile because of the big drop in production. Thankfully they were kind enough to offer my full refund in return including the $300 NRD I had placed, InArt, not so much.

With those sculpts, it was like they saw the second film midway through production and thought 'ah screw it'. The bases/stands do look like they put a lot of effort into it though, those look great. I've no idea whether to keep this or just deal with losing the money for the pre order.

arthur was a priority for me personally. I've spoken to 2ouble about it in the past and he was willing to do it but he told me to keep my eye out for inart first, but I had a feeling at the time I wasn't going to be happy with inart for long

dont really need people for red suit project, I was just planning on producing it for a friend and myself so we can have multiple copies of clothes because we loved 2019 heartly

iris set is great and like it a lot, I just.. sorta sank ship with vito/gesus set. i already invested too much money in that project, like 2.2k for a cheap figure respectively. i feel for people who bought into the yunsil set though lol

I just think moving forward I want to create my own things to how I like it. in some way or form other projects just fall flat to me

I hear that, I’m contemplating selling my Jagzz Yunsil ‘89 Nicholson Joker suit spot because of how Jagzz has dealt with us regarding the Hye Hwa coat run,
still waiting for that, never ending.

Between things like that and mass production pieces dropping the ball, I’ve managed to keep a good bit of money instead of being tied up in figures I’m not over the moon about.

I’m really enjoying setting an almost unobtainable bar for figures to enter the collection.

im sure yunsil set for joker will be nice, its just a shame whats going on with h studio and he's even considering a full set when he cant get the coat right to begin with lol I had little faith in the project but you were the glimmering light when you practically spoon fed them notes and saved them the leg work. shame they didn't listen

as you should set a high bar. nothing but the best for us. subpar figures are a dime a dozen, its for us to weed it out so we can have a collection we are truly satisfied with. not many will be hardcore like us and that's okay. people just seek out for more

surprisingly no issues with superman lol other than major nitpicks for the design for an otherwise meh figure. i felt nothing when I received him. not disappointed but not in love

This is a rare occasion. But I actually feel like I dodged a bullet with this release.

My disappointment with their Deluxe Ledger was at the forefront of holding me back. I had lost faith in the company early on, and I feared this would happen.

I don't think it's a terrible set mind you. It's just really mediocre. And I was only going to pay the asking price for what they initially solicited as their product. By the looks of things, they clearly have not delivered.

These are also the samples they chose for their final showcase. There will be worse headsculpts on that conveyor belt haphazardly rooted by their C team. Ones with too much volume, or too much length (or too little even).

I hate saying this, but Hot Toys is in a position to win this by a landslide. I'll try to take somebody's order upon release.

I'll be exercising caution with this company. My Aragorn & Superman will determine the way forward.

I'm so conflicted with this figure, I only ordered the 2 pack but it is so expensive and the final product does look like quite a drop in quality over the prototype.
I also managed to get in on the Hot Toys Artisan which could end up worse than this.
Decisions decisions....it's just quite a large deposit to eat if I end up skipping this.

I've been kind of lucky so far, I have 4 of their figures (Joker, Gandalf, Aragorn and Batman) and only the Batman has had any QC issues, the rest were pretty good.

Yeah, the more I look at the pictures and videos I'm about 99% sure I won't be paying off the balance on this.
I have the Artisan Hot Toys ordered as well so lets see if that lives up to the prototype.

Like you though, I'm worried for future releases as I already have pre-orders in for Paul, Legolas and 3x Nazgul.
