Likeness could definitely be improved. And more and more I'm seeing the drawbacks of the "real" haired dolls with this company. If you don't have the ability to futz it just right then the figures look off, as is the case here in my opinion (and with the various in-hand shots I've seen of Ledger Joker, Pattinson Batman, and Aragorn).

I can't wait to see more of this guy. One of the most well written characters of the last few decades. A must buy for me.

The likeness is very strong - but its also absolutely from Deathly Hallows Part 2 and not Philosopher's Stone.
I personally would prefer a younger and slightly meaner looking Snape, like from PS or COS or POA - for me this order will make or break on the accessories and additions, those are what have grabbed me on the HP releases so far.
With that said, this is a character and a performance I am genuinely interested in so I hope it looks good, has good accessories and can be improved a little on the likeness - also it not being prohibitively expensive would be great.

I think sculpted hair will look better on this one.
They created a poll in their Facebook group asking if there should be a sculpted version. It would help if everybody here could vote for the sculpted option. Even if you want rooted, it doesn't hurt to vote for sculpted since rooted is happening anyways.

This is very much a character I would buy a rooted and sculpted version of.
Yeah, i would be so dissapointed if they don't make sculpted version since this will probably be the only Snape figure in one sixth scale (considering Star Ace is bad). You could trying voting for sculpted version so that way hopefully they will be making both!

Sculpt looks great to me. Looks like he just said “Always”, even though this is for the first film. Only thing I think they need to work on is the outfit. Looks very clunky and not well fitted.

Picture from @weisun79 in the Queen Studios thread - looks like Snape is still on the way. Appears to be a standard and a deluxe coming, which is good news for anyone who wanted sculpted hair.

Draco is...a choice. Not entirely a bad one. Just wish they had something on the Sirius Black that was supposedly almost ready to go, and that the Dumbledore didn't disappear into thin air.

This Snape is what I want more than anything. I will also gladly take a Draco.

Agreed, I'll take Draco as well. Hopefully there will be a sculpted version (looks like there will be based on the photo) and hopefully around $400 like Ron was.

I feel like displays looks better in odd numbers...3s or 5s so I'd kind of want one more student/kid, but can't figure out who I'd even want that makes sense. I want Luna and Neville, but older versions for sure. They're still working on the first movie so no Ginny (likewise with Luna there). Can't have Fred without George, or George without Fred. So if we're just talking the first movie, that leaves....Seamus Finnigan lol.

I'll just wait and hope they make Ginny from Chamber of Secrets, I suppose.

Hopefully Snape goes up for order in the coming weeks, very ready to add to my Harry Potter collection with Ron arriving in a few days.

I'm very interested in both of these characters, but I would prefer that Inart finally put their Harris Dumbledore up for order, that was an excellent looking prototype figure.

Interested in how the potions intend to be displayed, I would think a diorama of the castle wall with shelves to hold the potions and ingredients would work well but it doesnt seem to be in the mock-up.

With more production figures releasing recently and much earlier than expected, I hope this means that they will be able to put up more preorders this year in general.

I would love to see 10-12 preorders go up, with at least Dumbledore and Snape in the allotment. If we could get more from this line, even better. Might be a pipe dream, but maybe there's a chance.

I dunno I like the slower pace.... not sure If i can handle 10-12 inart pre orders ranging from $500-$1500 a year.
As much as I would love to own every one of their releases, I have reserved myself a couple times. I passed on Pennywise, Joker (2019), and Michael Jackson.

So I would either have to think differently and order less of what they put out, or rethink what I ordered going forward if I want more InArt pieces per year. I don't think they are quit ready for that amount yet this year. Realistically maybe we get 6-8 figure preorders this year.

I wouldn't mind 8-12 solely because I know I wouldn't collect all of them. I just can't dive into every line, nor do I want to. Something like:

January - Severus Snape
February - Reeve Superman
March - Frodo&Sam
April - Batfleck Batman
May - Rick Grimes
June - Draco Malfoy
July - BvS Wonder Woman
August - Thorin Oakenshield
September - Daenerys Targaryen
October - Negan
November - Boromir
December - Michael Jackson 2.0

Spread out among the different lines they're working on right now, don't overload one line in particular, and have a slightly longer pre-order window so people have time to figure out what they want to do.

I wouldn't mind a schedule like that, because of those 12 hypothetical announcements, I would be down for 5, maybe 6, so I'd be able to manage. I'm sure many folks would be in the same boat and not need all 12, making it more bearable.
