Suede is leather with a napped finish. It's softer than regular leather.
Exactly this. Also, suede is more difficult to clean imo (be careful with dust if you like your figures al fresco, NEVER EVER SMOKE or touch with greasy hands this stuff) and maintain than normal leather, especially when it’s, as in this cases, really thin. Aragorn uses suede due to the texture needed there. Not sure what they’ll be using in this case though.

Suede is the lower half of full grain leather when they are separated (the other being top grain leather). It is expensive. When they say "suede", they probably mean Ultrasuede, which is significantly cheaper and is a nonwoven fabric, meaning it is pressed together in the mill

Also need to be careful when messing with the rooted hair as water and suede do not mix. Don't wanna dry it out, but the suede used with Aragorn seems pretty thin with no nap to really dry out, so it should be okay.

The downside to suede is you can't leave your InArt figures out in the yard when it rains.

Unless you turn the clothing inside out.

Lol - oh, there's a difference...just not sure if it's worth paying for especially if talking about canceling a pre-order non-refundable which you may have made.

But, hey...I'm one of the few "sane" collectors in here, don't mind me. Just spitting logic in a non-logical hobby.

The close ups of the prototype don’t appear to show a real suede to me, there’s a visible knit on the outer coat at the very least.

I guess the InArt's has the extra feet thingies and metal clasps on the lower sides in front, but otherwise I'm utterly clueless about the finer details :crying All I know for sure is that the rooted premium Bats I ordered is going to look better than any Hot Toys out there.

I've pre-ordered both the InArt and Hot Toys versions, and it's going to be very interesting to see how they both turn out.

Ditto. I’ll be able to see plenty of comparisons between the two before my HT set shows up (paid for before IA existed) so I’ll know if the HT is worth keeping well in advance.

But let’s be honest here; we all knew the HT became obsolete the second InArt wrote the word Batman down on a piece of paper.

Also all the magnetic stuff… IMHO it’s underrated. Most of us end up not changing that much stuff or thinking about it twice just because working with pegs is a real chore sometimes. Just for that, Inart seems well worth it if you ask me. Magnetic stuff should and must be copied by every company out there ASAP, we should ask for that as consumers. Or maybe I’m picky, idk.

About the hair, yeah… although humidity in Bristol is quite high if I remember correctly, so if you don’t know how to work with the rooted hair it might look a little “Beetlejuicy” in due time mind you :ROFLMAO::p

1k for Phoenix?!
This was always the case. There’s some mad clause where only the utmost high end (therefore expensive) merchandise will be permitted for that movie.

Phoenix not less than $1,000.... so get ready.

Batch One Jokers might be changed for Batch Two if there's issues.

Jon Snow is on the line list.

I’m glad to hear about Joker because the only fear that remains for me is that later batches could not live up to these initial releases but it sounds like the quality will stay consistent or certain areas may even be refined and improved.
Good thing only mainland China got the first batch because international buyers would have a nightmare paying for shipping to return their Nakatomi Plaza boxes.
