It looks like the mask portrait changed too. The nose and overall cowl shape looks rounder. Maybe the 👃 is covered??

I’m liking the changes a lot. I do hope though when the figure is facing the front, the chin would look more on the right. We will see.

makes me excited, just kinda wish they offered a drape cape but most will probably like a wired one

Based on that comparison I would agree, but it's kinda hard to judge probably given the different angle and lighting.

If it does look that bland in hand though I'll definitely be sticking with the masked head.
I tried to do a better comparison with the photo of the first proto from Thailand event or whatever event that was... its about the same angle now I guess. Personally Im very happy with those updates, especially the civil version of Bruce, so much better

Me honestly I won’t have problems with the wired it can probably drape just fine 👌. Who knows people will probably make custom drape capes in the future.

I can’t wait to see how he will look eyes looking up with their new eye color. Seriously this is way better than their 1:3 statue. And it’s coming sometime this year?? Inart is crazy for this.

If theres one thing I'd change, it's maybe that the cowl is too textured on the figure?
On the figure it looks like leather, but in the movie it has more of a rubber like texture.

It's interesting because it does look non textured in the film but the actual prop have a similar harsh leather texture like InArt

if I remember correctly this was the case with ben affleck batman. his real prop suit is grey but on movie they made it to appear darker. hot toys kind of using the movie as source material, the same with pattinson batman.
inart apparently choose to make this figure based on the prop suit. I might be wrong about it though :lol

No I think the cowl just look smooth and rubbery when you're not totally closing in on it but the leather texture is definitely there. The picture below is from the same costume FX maker and it's the exact same cowl I posted above

Hot Toy might or might not have captured this better (hard to tell considering how different their prototypes and actual final product are at times)

But you can also see the marks and details on the cowl are less prominent on HT. I think it's just one of those things that you need to have a look in person to fully decide, cause who knows InArt cowl might look like that too from afar

with how the cape is meant to be removable so you can see the backside of the figure, i can definitely imagine someone will come through with offering a drape cape just so some wont have to deal with wired.

one thing im really hoping they hone down on and change is the way they do their decal work for the eyes. if that gets improved, their production is gonna look golden to me

Same wish we could have multiple cape options as well. Usually I'd say just wait for custom but Jaxon who is my go-to is taking like 6-12 months nowadays it seem 😅
it does seem like a pity. i originally intended on buying inart so i wouldn't have to modify it like i do with hot toys, especially the cape. while the artist creates good work, id rather just have something finished, and that im satisfied instead of feeling the need to change it but ill probably dip my toes in if jaxon considers making a drape cape. his orders, its either youre the first to order and you get fit into the first batch which is within the first month of announcing an item or 6-12 months which is an honest pain to say the least

The cape length is touching the floor now isn't that not accurate..

I think both sculpts look almost equally as great. I think its gonna come down to which gets softer in production. Hot Toys as of recent tends to go soft and IAs Joker still has some great texture despite being drowned in somewhat flat white paint. We shall see.

Huh, that is interesting. I'm guessing it must just be a lighting thing in the movie that makes it look that way then. That prop does look dead on like InArt's figure.

I guess this is the final product?
No it's the final version of the prototype meaning they are happy with it won't be any adjusting anything further, this is the piece that will go into mass production. If it was final product they would have stated something among the lines up "production sample, final sample/product".

Anyone knows when the said convention is? Cause if it's summer then probably we're gonna be looking at a Q4 release for this guy

thats what i interpret too. ill **** myself if that's final final product. too good to be true. does raise into question. kit has this release slated Q2, HT slated Q2 but spec has it listed Q4 eta

With Aragorn and joker I feel like this is the final final product. Joker was very close to the prototype so I’m guessing this will be how it will look in production. Or the event figures will tell us otherwise.

I’m with you with the hype I think with the material intricacy and face sculpt this is their best 1/6 so far! Even if they’re making TDK Batman in the future this is more impressive because there are more authentic materials to think about in the figure than just armor.
