This could be like a space-saver pose for your 1/6 figures. Just lie them flat, and you can probably fit 20 figures into one detolf shelf.

I hate that you brought this to my attention

The only shelf I've broke the 2+1 rule (two figs, a third if proportionally smaller i.e. Yoda) is for the Guardians. Something about a chaotic, posed up crammed look can work for them.

For me anything more than two figures per detolf shelf is clutter and takes away from the aesthetics.

Over collecting is a legit REAL problem.

It really is a good rule to go by twos. Not everything in your collection needs to be put at once either. Rotating displays keeps it fresh and keeps you engaged too.

I respect the 1 per shelf people. They really tend to kill it with classy displays.

Ultimately I'd like to do a custom metal rack conversion shelf. Those look SO good and are insanely affordable to put together, basically giving you the aesthetic and encasement of moducase without all of the hoops people seem to have obtaining them.
