I mean, an out-of-focus and overexposed photograph will look terrible regardless of the figure in the picture, yeah.

Just a heads up, I thought mine didn’t work either. It turns out the signal is realllllllly picky about which USB C cords it will work with. I tried three different cords I had hanging around before I found one that it would work with. Now it operates perfectly well and reliably. So before going through the trouble of a return, I’d recommend trying more cords.

I got my HT deluxe yesterday and aside from the batsignal not working I’m really impressed, but after finding out about the Inart version last month (way too late) I think my Jazzinc Batmobile is gonna need that rooted hair blowing out of it. Any chance someone knows of a reputable dealer where I can still find one? Preferably the all-in but the standalone deluxe works too. I know it’s pretty late in the game but wanted to ask before I caved to feebay.

I'm probably not the only one who's getting CF emails about the thread and thinking the first pics of this figure are dropping.

So excited, two years wait and we are closer than ever.

Surprised there's no word on this figure yet. I really hope they've made improvements, but that seems improbable at this stage. And at this point, I want to see it released so the ball can get rolling on Aragorn which is also well behind schedule.

Yeah I was also very hopeful. But the first photo I posted in thread. It is different from the top version. And they didnt even show him properly. They moved fast to the next figure

They didnt even show him in the video. And by the looks of it, yeah it is horrible. Hope Final version comes out like Shanghai one. Fingers crossed

What do you mean it’s different, they're the exact same prototype. It’s just the bad camera and lighting that changes the face that makes it look “horrible.”

It's the same prototype as the one in Shanghai lol I said it before but all these prototypes you see in these conventions are the same. It's similar to what Hot Toys does when they chart from one con to another. They're not pulling the latest figure out of some factory to put on display.

People really downplay how big of a role lighting has on figures. Same with Aragorn and people trying to say it's a different face from one convention to another when it's been the exact same since the start.

They haven't even finished getting all the Gandalf figures out yet, so I'm more than sure we're in for a little longer wait time. Gotta remember Chinese New Year tends to delay stuff. It lasts about 2 weeks or so if I remember correctly and it started around Feb 10th I believe.

They can take their time. I’m doing just fine. I am very curious to see what the final turns out like, though/how much input they took into account. I swear to god this thing is like looking at a Rorschach test there have been so many iterations and tweaks.

I hope that's the case. Having 2 jokers already and Superman on PO, I am really excited for this figure. But the wait is killing me too
