Right... let's get the thread back to figure release date gripes, inaccuracies, changes between showcases, etc.
I will bookmark this and if there is even a hairline change in the figure from the event/prototype, we will have a war then :p . Also if u guys are fighting, just fight HT vs Inart. That's more fun

Going to be controversial but... I kinda liked the movie...
I loved the movie and won’t apologize for that, but it’s cool with me that some didn’t like the movie or were otherwise underwhelmed by it.

I also think both the HT and InArt figures look really good. That said I do prefer the overall look of the InArt figure.

Just to add more to this discussion while we wait, but I think The Batman (2022) is the best live-action Batman film that understands the mythos of Batman. Batman Begins is my personal favorite but I do think Reeves’s story and Pattinson’s portrayal as Batman will surpass Nolan’s vision when it’s all said and done. And I love Nolan’s TDK trilogy and Christian Bale as the caped crusader.

I agree, the movie gave me what I've wanted from a Batman film, I understand those who wished for a more silver age version, more light hearted, and with his Bat-family (and we might get that with the new DCU from Gunn) but I've wanted to see a dark detective noir thriller type film. There are so many great stories that put Batman in those scenarios and I feel we finally got it this time. Plus the Batsuit is the best I've seen in live action, like Batfleck was an awesome comic accurate style batsuit, and Bale's was a grounded high tech tactical one. This is in between those by being comic/tactical. Of course also being inspired by Lee Bermejo art of Batman. As I've said before if the suit doesn't change to much and keeps that Aesthetic then we'll be in for a great trilogy.

This movie was awesome and you can't change my mind.
Pattinson is easily a better Batman/Bruce than Affleck, Kilmer, Clooney or Bale and felt like a real person to me whose pain I empathized with.
And Paul Dano fricking nailed it as The Riddler and my only complaint is I wish we saw more of him.

REALLY impatient to see some pics of the figure though!
Interesting to see how it compares to the Hot Toys one - which honestly seems to have come out really well.

Im never one to think one is better than the other. I simply just love Batman as a character and all of the portrayals do something for me in different ways.

Not to say I'm blind to any criticism though, there just hasn't been a bad portrayal for as long as ive been alive. I love the 90s and older Batmen but anything bale-present has been incredible.

Clooney wasn't bad? Lol jk I actually thought he was decent but could have done better with a different script.

Thats why I said there hasn't been a a bad portrayal since ive been alive, he was okay but before my time. I've only seen that movie a couple times when I was younger, have no interest to watch it again

Same, I prefer Batman Forever between the two of them.

But have you watched them lately? 😂 I thought the same thing until I watched them all from '66 to '22 last year. Batman Forever was by far the worst of them all. Writing and directing was god awful making the acting campy as hell and almost impossible to watch in my opinion.

My personal ranking top three Batman films so far are Batman TDK, The Batman 2022, then Batman Begins. 2022 Batman and Begins can easily be switched but for me personally Robert Pattinson's version has the best iteration of Gotham we've seen. A mix of fiction and realism pretty much in the perfect sweet spot. My only small problem like other people is that the film can be long especially for the general audience. If the second film focuses on condensing plot points better, while overall focusing on the story, and keeping the pros of the first film (score, acting, theme etc) it will be outstanding. But to me nothing can be TDK batman, the soundtrack, actors, costume design and even by Heath's performance alone this movie will not be touched.

Lol, The Batman(2022) is a good/great film, but comparing it to The Dark Knight trilogy felt more like an insult. I know movies are subjective, but even then it's a sin to compare to TDK which is not only the greatest superhero movie of all time but also one of the greatest movies ever made. You know why people praise TDK? Rewatchable factor. It has at least 10 scenes where I can watch it over 100 times and still not get bored, keeping aside at least dozen of iconic quotes that is still popular. The Batman has 2-3 great scenes that are worth rewatching and it is a very very long film that loses its steam in-between

I think I’m slowly losing the plot waiting for a review video or in hand photos of this figure now 🙃
To be honest, I am afraid that this figure might turn out bad and this is the only Inart figure I am not confident on.I have PO'd Superman but have not PO'd this. It is still up for PO on OSK which worries me. Either they are trying to make money knowing their product didn't turn out good or they are super confident that this turned out really good and are trying to make more sales. I hope it is the latter

I said in regards to understanding the “Batman mythos.” If you were to ask me which is the best LA Batman film in general/overall, I’d say The Dark Knight (2008). Think you misread what I said.

TDK is the best. A near perfect film from start to finish (epic ending) and no other LA Batman film matches that. No insulting here. As I said, I’m a Nolan TDK trilogy guy first and foremost. Bale is my Batman. Pattinson is #2.

Batman Begins is the best Batman movie. Fight me

But I love Bale, Keaton, and Pattinson equally. I love Affleck as well, but mostly for the outfits in BVS. He is the only one that looks like Batman to me. I'm so tired of the realistic looks and rubber condom suits. I hope James Gunn's Batman in his DC movies looks more comic book like. Have a simple outfit, wear his diaper on the outside, boom. Something different for live action, and different is what I want now.
