I'm going to guess that there will be cancelations by the time this actually ships... so maybe a small window of opportunity to get this through a number of sellers.

The video above was a great review of the pros and cons.

Head size bothers me on figures. Truthfully, I think I can tolerate a slightly larger head than I can a slightly smaller one. Pinhead figures just look wrong on the shelf. It may take time for people to actually see it. "New and shiny" haze must dissipate first.
Or perhaps it’s not too small

We'll see how the cape is in hand. I'll probably test out the HT on InArt but I might still get it to drape decently.

Update: Yup, it's connected. Look at his index finger at the back. Phew!
I still don’t think it’s connected. That guy just doesn’t want to break the gel connection of the hair on top of the head.

He also twists the rear section when lifting it and I’d presume the connection would be a simple hinge joint- so wouldn’t twist.

Didn’t the very first reviewer completely separate the head?
Now I need to confirm.

Update:
Yeah, I really just think everyone’s too scared to pull it away from the hair.

Yeah it being an almost complete circle is interesting. Would explain the excess fabric they must have had for it to drape and fold so sharply on his back.

I’m guessing most companies didn’t think about this either since I have yet to see any cape from both figure or statue accomplish the movie look. I hope Jaxon does when he makes his custom cape.
I think with the volume of fabric, even super thin material, it would still bunch up or be prone to tearing. Most of the time it’s just draped back anyway so it was a simpler choice to make it look good in just the 1 position. With the Velcro on the InArt a custom one that envelops him seems easy enough to do.

I’d love to know how the hell that wingsuit works and where it came from.
In the movie, it just seemed to magically envelop him like how Flash’s suit psychics-defyingly jumps out of a tiny ring.

In universe it’s hard to tell; obviously some gas filled compartments that inflate like those motorcycle jackets, probably some pull cords that tighten the suit around him. He has buckles on the lower part of the bicep armour that I think factor into it. Still not sure whether the parachute was part of the cape or a separate part but when it’s caught on the bridge the wingsuit is ripped off.

From what I can tell there were 3 or some different shots they combined for the initial jump and start of the glide; a stuntman on location already in a wingsuit (on wires),

Rob on an indoor set activating the ‘inflation’ part of the suit that rotates around him (they embellished the practical effect with cgi which is why it looks like it wraps around him.)

and another indoor set with a stuntman jumping off a set into a wind machine
Impressively the landing where he rolls off the car along the ground was practical.

Agreed. Both Gandalf and Joker rear panels were sort of "stuck" to the overlapping hair upon first removal. Just have to be carefull to not pull the overlapping hair bits off the first time you remove that panel, but after that, it removes just fine.
