I'll be happy with InArt Bats. But HT Bats still gets a little love, I'll probably keep them both as intended before. Inart as my main museum display and HT to pose around and customize. That or sell HT and get a second sculpted InArt release.

Also saw the posts of the new images on FB and I can see what BrooklynWolf was talking about. Idk who In the world would say the InArt Bats isn't any better then HT. Lmao come on now you really have to be trolling at that point and not be a complete *****.

I promise you no no one in good faith sees those photos black posted and actually thinks the hot toys figure looks better. They might comment that but they don't actually think it.

I'm not even gonna judge people who are defending the HT version. I even spent about half a day trying to convince myself I didn't need InArt before finally being honest with myself. 🤣 When there's this much money invested into a hobby, being defensive of the product you bought and dismissive of the rest is a natural defense mechanism.
The HT is great. Needs a little work to make it really pop but they certainly put effort into it.

The InArt however is truly next level. Insane this is a 1/6 figure.
I'm happy with the HT but this is absolutely next level. Like my Border Collie's intelligence versus every other dog I've ever been around. How all of you survived the wait, plus all the critiques, adjustments...bravo to you. Hopefully the Batman 2 version goes so much better because the forum on this topic has been the craziest I've ever seen.

Admittedly I’ve been overly d***ish with the HT version and to those who own it. I’ll also admit I get easily triggered by hyperbolic takes from those devout HotToysians. And the only way I respond back is to be just as hyperbolic as them. Of course the best route is to not engage with them…but the “need to point out how stupid you are” side of me takes over.

Fair takes from you guys are what I truly appreciate. Acknowledgement of each figures strengths and weaknesses. Instead of the usual one sided argument from clowns that lack critical thinking you’d find on FB…

Yeah I was kidding and breaking your balls about getting rid of the HT version. It still is a decent figure in its own right. I just got carried away with the HT vs InArt nonsense 😅

🤣🤣agreed.

Yeahhh, Collector Freaks is the best place to discuss 1/6. No question.
leonardo dicaprio thank you GIF

Unreal's sculpt sounds promising. It's a work in progress. It'll have rolling eyes, and he's considering seamless/articulated. I don't know if the finish can be quite as detailed as Inart's in texture/paintwork, but it's going to be an improvement in general.

I'm still uncertain I want to go the road of overspending on this figure. Only time will tell.

I get the feeling the sequel suit will be better but thats 5 or more years b4 that figure is out probably.

This suit was ok, it is sort of 'first night out' in appearance even though I wasnt clear on that from the movie.

Was there ever a “sequel suit” that was considered a downgrade from the first?

these are the few that come to my mind: blade 3, Batman in Justice League, Batman returns…

The Batman’s outfit felt like a mix of “gotham by gaslight” and “Arkham Origins”…it felt robust and a little haphazardly put together.

Like so:

I'd say all Batman sequel suits have been worse than their predecessor. Returns, TDK, Justice League.

Hopefully The Batman 2 breaks this trend

It’s funny, the pattern of going from natural to ‘machine like finish’ has kinda been a thing with Batman huh?

We had 89’s muscle suit - Returns more angular mechanical look. Strangely enough the 3rd film returned back to its organic look…with nips🤢

Begins - TDK…well we all know how that looks. But I personally never had issues with TDK armored look. It was fitting as a “Knight” yknow?

And Justice League. I think that a-hole @Gipetto0812 (🤣🤣j/k, luv ya!) told me the history with that and how the costume maker from BvS (responsible for the sublime Batfleck suit) didn’t make the JL outfit.
