I'm guessing it's a licensing thing where they don't want to make it seem like they're selling directly to a different region.

I do wonder how licensing works when it comes to western reviewers. Might indeed be them trying to work around it and not get into trouble. No idea how that stuff is behind the scenes. Wouldn't INART sending the figure directly to Justin/Jedha be against licensing since they're not in countries the license falls under? Unless if it doesn't work that way.

Legit Hadn’t crossed my mind. If InArt sent it directly to their respective locations, that does appear to be a violation or breach of contract.

Couldn’t the YTers just not reveal where they received their items?

EDIT-also, if they didn’t pay for the items, that should be the loop hole in this region exclusivity deal.

Why would InArt want that?

As someone studying marketing, it seriously puzzles me. It makes InArt look like they're trying to put their hands in their reviews. I understand Justin is taking a bit longer because they're shipping something to him so he can complete his review.

My best guess is they have some kind of agreement with Justin. They want him to be a brand ambassador of sort. They sent him the figure early, but there was a problem. They didn't want him to get screwed being last, so they're trying to coordinate things between him and Jedha to keep things fair, until that "package" arrives.

If this is the case,

A. It's stupid
B. It's concerning

Not gonna watch his video but I just know he has the figures lit from only the sides. Probably with the middle front section, arguably the most important part, of the figure in darkness and shadow.

Yes. Inart is the better figure, but that cowl face plate and the beak nose bothers me. Have to pose accordingly to hide it.

It's not just that Justin uses lights that are too heavy, it's that he also lights everything from below as well.
Do you want a person to look absolutely terrible on film or video? Light them from below.
This is why people use reflectors; they allow you to lighten up the shadows on a person's face, without blowing out all the details.
