I made some custom hands for him, but they're huge lol
It only works on close-up pictures

No method to it, it achieves a nice silhouette around the shoulders while still looking like it drapes, not entirely accurate but not gonna mess with it and ruin the look.

Still messing about with mine anyone got a solution for getting the batarang to sit flush on the chest piece?

QC for me hasn't been too bad but here are the issues I had, loving this piece though!

Bent ears.
No magnet at all in the left boot.
Gauntlet pieces bent.
Magnets falling out.

I'd take the body but have no idea If rory opened the back zipper and never closed it. Had that issue with mine and ultimately ended up doing a trade with someone with a stock body since they want to already mod it and I said since I started they can use mine and I can keep their stock one.

Still tinkering with this guy. I added a light coat of matte to the HT parts and OT collar to better match the IA finish. Then had fun weathering the armor and boots with a Tamiya weathering kit.

One mod I'm happy about is that because the Hot Toys shoulder/bicep/forearm armor I'm using is wider than IA's, I was able to add some tissue paper padding under the fabric to remove some of that twiggy arm look that I found distracting. Obviously that's just my preference though.

I think I'm done working on him now. Time to figure out how to mod the IA Superman next!

For the matte did you use a rattle can or do you have an airbrush?

I sprayed a few light dust coats from a can of Mr Super Clear Matte/Flat topcoat from about ten inches away, quickly passing over the part. Just kind of assessing as I went, so as not to overdo it. You can always add more, but can’t take it off, so my approach was to build slowly. Then I dry bushed on the “Mud” color from Tamiya’s weathering kit A, which also adds some matte since it goes on flat. I didn’t want to go as grayed out as InArts original black parts, just a little less glossy.

Just live with it, don’t make the same mistake I made & accidentally break the batarang.

Fortunately I was SUPER lucky to find someone parting out InArt Batman to get chest piece w/batarang. But it was expensive mistake.

I didn’t need to touch the zippers, I doubt they could’ve been repaired if I did. Instead I removed the pants and was able to go under the shirt to make the padding adjustments. Then popped the pants back on. There was a single stitch holding the pants up, but it was easy to replace when I was done.

I worry about that with the InArt. The magnet isn’t very strong holding it on to the chest plate, so I added some double sided tape to be safe.

Also I think I saw in some of your pics you had the HT gauntlets and Inart hands then switched to HT gauntlets and HT hands. Any preference?

Yeah I much prefer the HT hands. The IA hands were just too grayed out for me. They didn’t look like leather. But that just my opinion.

My standard Batman has just left kit. I’m sure I was last batch because he dropped off the site for the last time as soon as I ordered, so I guess he’s nearly done! Still not that excited anymore, but I’ll be pleased to have him anyway.
