Deep-set eyes, hair falling out, over-sized clothing, obvious stitching, plasticy shoes, failing magnets, sub-par paintwork, floppy "all-new" body...
its not too unusual of a thing tbh. plenty of artists out there that can sculpt, though depending. YOU WILL BE CHARGED A LIMB. 1K+ to say lightly but there's very incredible artists that can mock up a 3d sculpture and render for you so you can print out or have someone do that, etc. i almost had a panic attack when i asked how much it would cost to sculpt someone, granted it was one of the more reasonable prices. but talking to a buddy, it can go up to like 3-7K for a sculpt. though it can be profitable to some if there's large interest, many project runners can make lots of money if there's like 50+ people that are interested in like a actor's likeness. but as a one-off? a bit pricey imo, but thats to be expected. just gotta pick the right sculptor within your budget, plenty of artists out there. For those prices I would love to have a custom 1/6 sculpt of myself done. Ha!
I've been listening to all the 1/6 youtubers try to convince people that the HT one is the better value and that since Inart didn't really show any dynamic posing that HT will pose better.. LMFAO. I don't think many people know the custom scene even exists let alone realize how much people pay for a head sculpt or clothing set. 1000% deal is correctSadly the majority of Hot Toys "casual" collectors are not very familiar with the custom scene. Like you mentioned a full figure run could cost you around 3k minimum depending on the artists and how many people are involved. It's clear that InArt target audience is these high-end custom collectors in China, who does not mind spending loads of money to elevate their display/figures by any means possible, their lead artist (Viper) is someone who came from the custom game after all. And again like you mentioned compared to the usual prices that it would take to organize a run for a full figure. This is 1000% a steal ($990 is basically the price of a painted head sculpt from Yelim) and why I didn't even hesitate pulling the trigger on it.
Little edit I did. Having all 3 of these together on display is gonna be quite something.
I think if there was ever a service like that in 1/6, there would be a run on phicen M35’slol reminds me. i cant remember of the company but there was a company that was charging like 60 bucks or something so you can have an 1/12 action figure of yourself. just gotta take a video of your face all around to get it rendered out
With a name like yours you have to go all out, surely???Im still on the fence on either the Premium Batman or going all out on the two-pack set..
im still annoyed they haven't given dimensions for the bat signalI wonder how big the Bat Signal actually is? The video is hard to read scale.
I had that same thought but if I'm already paying $760, I might as well just go all out, hence why I did. $230 for the spotlight and the second raccoon rooted hair, why not at that point. Here's what I'm thinking: if I'm not going to use The Batman rooted head, then I should get the $380 standard Batman (minus the computer -- who cares?) and the $380 Premium Wayne -- now I have a rooted Wayne head and a plastic-haired Wayne head for $760...!
Cutting the Bat Signal and the Bat Computer saves $230.
It was mostly my fault but paint that are that good tends to be even more fragile. The paint came off??? That's a thing to worry about? What the ****
I was actually referring to the hot toys version, not the Jazzinc version........In that case?
It’s available to pre-order now and you can find it here:

I know. Buffinator’s joke was that the Hot Toys version will take up less space because it will never be released. I was making the joke that the JazzInc is the only alternative to InArt’s you’re liable to be able to get as, again, Hot Toys will never see the light of day.I was actually referring to the hot toys version, not the Jazzinc version........
I say go premium and save some money. That joaquin joker will break the bank. And theres the bvs trinity God help meIm still on the fence on either the Premium Batman or going all out on the two-pack set..
Whose to say it isn't the size of the bat computerim still annoyed they haven't given dimensions for the bat signal
If the All-In included the plastic heads then I think they would have made sure we knew that - it would be a huge incentive to go All-In.I wonder if ALL-IN could include the plastic haired heads as well as the rooted heads...?
What if the plastic ended up being better?
