Well I don't think it's the worst one, but I have a pretty badly bent ear.
Also, is the texture and colour of the neck supposed to be completley different to the head?
It's hard to capture what I mean in a picture, but it is more like a grey than black and it has a sort of "rubber" texture to it.

See, that’s just unacceptable… that’s deflating. I’m sorry, I really hope you’re able to fix that..

And yes, I also thought the neck adapter was shoddily painted, but that’s how it comes. Good thing is that it hides well and it’s shadowed once the sculpt is on.

Yeah I'm hoping after a bit of heat I will be able to get it straightened out, not trying it today though as it's late enough and spent about 30 minutes just trying to get some folds into the cape.

How are people moving the eyes in the masked sculpt? I can't find any "tool" with this figure and my set of tweezers aren't doing a good job at the fine movements.

Good call. So easy for something to go wrong with these INART figures if tired.

I’ve been using a set of beauty tweezers I bought for the hobby. They’re real small which works great for tough to access areas.

I love the IA Pattinson sculpt, and despite some small flaws, I prefer it over my HT Pattinson. BUT I’m still so bothered by the seeming too small scale of it to actually display it for long. I know others will tell me I’m wrong and it’s accurately sized, but my eyes just don’t see it that way.

It is underscaled, you can simply tell the head size doesn't make sense if you slap the sculpt into the TOPO body, which is supposed to be almost the same height because both are wearing boots. His head looks ridiculously small.

This release could've been so much better if they didn't messed up that and the cape.

InArt definitely have to do something about all these QC issues. You'd think given how few figures they release it shouldn't be this big of a problem.

I've been lucky with all three figure's I've received from them but it's pretty disheartening to see so many others effected. Only issue I had was getting two left fists for Batman but Kit sorted that out pretty quick for me.

Still tinkering with this guy. I added a light coat of matte to the HT parts and OT collar to better match the IA finish. Then had fun weathering the armor and boots with a Tamiya weathering kit.

One mod I'm happy about is that because the Hot Toys shoulder/bicep/forearm armor I'm using is wider than IA's, I was able to add some tissue paper padding under the fabric to remove some of that twiggy arm look that I found distracting. Obviously that's just my preference though.

I think I'm done working on him now. Time to figure out how to mod the IA Superman next!

F**k me, this figure is awesome. :love

I finally installed the stock cape and boy, does it complete the look. So happy with this thing, I think it’s safe to say I have a new favorite!

I didn’t have any clips on me when I was futzing the cape while watching basketball, so I’ll keep tinkering with it to give it cleaner pleats/folds, but I think I’m satisfied with what I was able to manage for now. IMO, much better than the really inaccurate aftermarket drape capes I’ve been seeing out there. After messing with it, I’ve got no need for another cape.

Had to get a shot with my OT Customs Batman Begins figure - these being my two favorite live-action Batmans and batsuits. Last pic is a shot of the current diversity in the collection, the heavy hitters with the new addition.

Badass figure!

Tips for the cape?

Bit of warm water and it straightened out quite easily, still no excuse though their QC/packaging should not have allowed for that to happen.

Well done. At this point, I’ve just accepted that mine will come with something missing or/and an ear bent. Sucks that InArt really dropped the ball on their QC, essentially throwing away some the reputation that they’ve build.

Sorry for me spamming this thread and this may be another dumb question, but are the bicep armour parts supposed to be the same or should they be a "left" and "right" version?
It just seems to me comparing to other peoples pictures that I have 2x his "right" arm.

That looks fantastic!
Armor's closer to the screen now.

Can you detail your matte application and weathering process?
