Dude! You've done a remarkable job. This looks great.
Thank you so much man. I really appreciate it. :) Since the Batman 2 is delayed I will enjoy this beauty while I can. 🙏 But yeah overall it’s a magnet JND style head took some time to make it work.

Wow that’s amazing. First custom head sculpt I’ve seen that really looks like the real thing. Interested in learning more about it too
Thank you very much :D I’m planning to make an Instagram and will gather some interested folks if they want to be part of my first batch.

Hi my friends, took a break from this forum. But I wanted to show my personal project of the seamless custom cowl I’ve been working on a year now. This took many many hours. Overall im very happy and is now my favorite figure of my small collection. I had to implement a custom magnet system like JND to make this work. Proportions and overall look is inspired by JND but also changed certain things to fit Pattinson’s face.

There’s overall three mouth plates as well, the other is a slightly open and angry mouth plate both look similar. After lots of size testing this works with HT/inart eyes which is great. Here are some iPhone shots, I hope you like it and let me know your thoughts.

I can really see the JND influence in the mouthplate.
I think almost every sculpted iteration of Battinson is idealised because he just gives off that impression but you've resisted the urge to hyper accentuate his features. That defined jawline is still there but also looks natural and grounded.

Now I'm imagining myself going completely cross-eyed painting those stitch lines!

Thank you a lot mate, JND was the closest in terms of the likeness for me compared to HT/inart/ QS/Prime studio but still nothing is perfect. I tried my best to add what was working im glad you see it haha.

I can probably paint the stitch lines, the reason I didn’t is mostly most pics just show them as all black. But I can see how it can elevate the sculpt too so I’ll see today.

Oh I thought they were already painted because I can see them so clearly.

It would be a time consuming nightmare to do that by hand. You're probably better off leaving it.

This is the actual stitching as per the Adam Savage video.

Nice work bud. I think it definitely turned out great. Interesting how you made it similar to JND that does probably work to move the eyes better and also the seem line can stay hidden provide you made it stick with a strong magnet.

Thanks a lot bud🙏 The magnet was trial and error for sure but I’m glad it turned out good. It’s quite secure when it’s attached.

Welcome back Potato :) wishing you a very happy new year my friend.

And at first glance, that first photo looked like a bts shot to me from the set. Absolutely brilliant 👏🏼
