Hey Guys. I’m just wondering about the release date for Aragorn. Anyone have an idea?
TL;DR: No one knows for sure, sometime between beginning for march and end of the year. Read on for educated guess.

During several interviews InArt rep has said the Batman would start going out to reviewers after Chinese New Year (towards the end of the month/start of next month). Aragorn was mentioned in the same delay message as the Batman.

They also mentioned that their biggest bottle neck is the hair rooting. They mentioned that they are hiring and on boarding 100 new hair rooters. Without knowing how many they had before, it's impossible to extrapolate, especially since we don't know how long it takes to onboard them. All we know is hopefully they'll be quicker.

They released Gandalf and Pennywise at the same time initally. Pennywise was completely out quicker because he was a small batch (One sculpt vs 2 but gandalf had hair and beard).

I expect that the first review samples won't be too far behind batman. As for when you'll get yours, that depends on their speed up and when you placed the order.

I'm thinking it'll be the same staggered release as Gandalf, beginning in fall and pushing through early 25.
Most likely the case, probably Q3/Q4. Batman releases around March for Batch 1 and continues into the Summer. Aragorn releases Q3/Q4 and runs into 2025.

John said that they're hoping to have their production improved towards the second half of the year if all goes well so we might see a smoother release starting with Aragorn if we're lucky. Fewer batches is what he said they're hoping to achieve.

I think the standard figures will go out this year. The rooted ones...probably 2025. Which is really nuts to think about.
For purely selfish reasons I can live with the standards coming out first since I caved and bought both versions. My wallet wouldn’t mind a couple of months or more in between (although I won’t complain if they come out at the same time). Thankfully I have been selling off almost my entire collection and have very little on preorder anymore. There is no way I could keep collecting like I used to at these new pricing levels.

Happily most recent Hollywood offerings are so terrible don't feel there's a need to collect a character representative. :monkey3

Yup, I feel that way too.

Thankfully, I have most of the characters I love from my favorite franchises. Just missing a few here and there, but my shelves are mostly filled out at this point. Much easier to upgrade my Legolas from Asmus to InArt when it happens since I don't need to buy a bunch of other characters just to get them on the shelf.

Well after receiving my Gandalf, all I can say is I cannot bloody wait to get Aragorn.
Inart have set a new standard in the 1/6 hobby.
Sorry for the cheap Nokia phone pic, it really does not do this figure justice.
So glad I ordered Aragorn, I only did it recently when Kit put up that second pre-order, phew.
