The cuffs of his undershirt sleeves are slightly bunched and bound by some string; presumably to aid in putting on the duster and vambraces.
I wonder if undoing it allows them to open up to better resemble the correct shape…

Doesn’t look like the opening could be as wide but it might give a little more of that billowing look.

One of my 3 Aragorns is destined for the Amon Hen look so the accuracy of those sleeves will determine whether I go with a pre vambrace ‘I would have gone with you to the end…’ or post-battle ‘Let’s hunt some orc!’ look.

Amon Hen is where I fully and undyingly fell in love with Aragorn.
I thought he was a goner for sure and that showed me just how much I didn’t want him to die.

Some of the best images I've seen of this figure. Thank the lord those imbeciles (sorry "influencers") who can't pose to save their lives didn't make this look like dog ****. More images of Instagram. So hyped for thisView attachment 708503

That’s what’s bothering me, shoulders too broad. Viggo had a slimmer build.

As a MASSIVE STAR WARS Hot Toys collector with LOTR second,I am SOOOOOO glad and relieved I preordered this figure.
I regret canning my Gandalf order with Sugo Toys, but THIS figure is unmissable now.
Looking at further inhand pics, it truly is THE game changer in 1/6th collecting, and Hot Toys REALLY need to up their game!
Especially in the Customer Service realm.
Glad I ordered the rooted hair, but man that sculpted version looks very good!!
I know InArt said they would go deep with the LOTR line, but would really like to see if they can pull off Galadriel and Arwen now.

As an absolute "rooted" fanatic, I have to admit that sculpted version comes very close. In some shots i like the face even a bit better with sculpted hair somehow. Still, long hair and sculpted is a no go for me personally. But every collector should be happy with theit choice, looks fantastic

Frodo, Sam and Boromir are my most wanted from the Fellowship.
Legolas is next
THEN Gimli - the Asmus one still holds up.

As a huge Gimli fan, I would rate the Asmus Gimli a 7.5- 8 out of 10 because of the chainmail looking really bad and because I think Inart would use better materials overall in almost all of his clothing.
Now I dont think they could do a 10 out of 10 in all aspects but a 9-9.5 would be a definitive edition for me and would gladly buy at least 2.

The sculpted looks great. But this figure in particular really shines with the rooted hair I think. More so than their Ledger even. If I set my sights on a 2nd, I'm going with another premium.

Damn. I thought Inart assured us they were conscious of these..

Maybe it's still better than the crap Hot Toys use..
It's probably the same material they used on Gandalf's sword belt. There are varying degrees of pleather though and not all are created equal. There's the cheap stuff that HT tends to use but then there's higher quality stuff as well.
