Definitely improving with each new photo/video.

The hair looks very good except for that gap. That should be somehow filled in at the factory.

SO glad that it appears to not have PERS.

Here's some footage!

Just caught up with this announcement. I think I'm probably happier with this sculpt than most in here, but I wish they went with a version where he isn't flaring his nostrils open. Looking at shots from the movie, Viggo definitely does that a lot during action scenes, which is probably what they were using as reference, but in sculpted form it gives the impression that his nose is natually much wider than Viggo's.

It's what gives the sculpt that overall "Faramir" feel. David Wenham's nose is wider like this.

I asked about the rooted hair version on Twitter and Inart confirmed it to be their prototype!

^That sculpt is cool, but the eye/pupil could be more life like (especially in direct comparison to the inart above)

Awesome they confirmed the rooted one is theirs because it‘s really good imo tho it’s crazy how different the sculpt is between that and the sculpted hair version. Personally I think it’s a different sculpt. I’m seeing differences in proportions and sculpted detail. You think it’s possible they really are two different sculpts they were testing with customers(even in a weird way)?

So, whoever wanted to keep it hush hush that the rooted sculpt belongs to InArt clearly wasn’t InArt’s social media rep. What a stupid secret to try and keep.

Pers confirmed then as the eyes are looking up on the root sculpt and neutral on the display piece. I do think pers is just an standard feature with IA so we can always expect it.

Im liking what I see more as time goes on. It’s still obviously the best mass produced Aragorn and will also beat all those who wasted money on rooting the Asmus sculpts. We just need proper, quality images that capture all the details, textures and weathering.

Well I'd imagine all figure companies have multiple prototypes, they wouldn't just make one draft.

The one on display is just likely the one that was furthest along in terms of presentability, we'll never really know though.
