I won’t entirely disagree about the posing but I do think you’re missing the stylistic intention behind InArt’s choice to shoot these figures in very natural, unexaggerated poses.I also have an issue with the presentation, it’s all a bit museum pose dull. All of their figures look like they’re waiting for an elevator, why not add some interesting poses? Show us how well they can move. That Aragorn pic with him kneeling is most dynamic thing they’ve shown. Not to mention the info sheets display all the wrong things, they seem to have devoted so much time to the sculpt and hair that the preorder and presentation is an afterthought.
I completely agree with you, greatest looking figure ever!!!!!This place is such an echo chamber sometimes.
Fine.
Greatest looking figure ever.
Whoever is doing the paint applications for this figure, I hope they're getting paid well. That close-up of the sculpt...thats just nuts man!Hi-Res images, specs and links to retailers. Hope it helps keep it organized a bit.
Agreed. Honestly that’s the one thing that kind of makes me a bit irritated with the InArt fans. I get being a bit disenchanted/irritated with some choices Hot Toys makes but it’s not like they’re making garbage figures like some seem to like to make it out. InArt is making very nice figures I’m not denying that, but I feel like Hot Toys definitely still has their place.Happy with the fantastic works for far for Star Wars license from Hot Toys. Don't need CW Kenobi to be priced at $500+ for ultra detailed realism level whatsoever.
no kidsHonestly...what do you people do for a living that are ordering multiples?
I'm not poor but I do have a mortgage to pay!
Just wait until you've paid off your mortgage, then you'll be one of them.Honestly...what do you people do for a living that are ordering multiples?

Pretty muchno kids

Yep, only ordered one because of kidsno kids
50+ Y/O, dual income household, no kids = disposal income.....Honestly...what do you people do for a living that are ordering multiples?

lol yep same. Even so I don't think I'd order more regardless. If I did, maybe I'd order the rooted, but I'd keep it in a safe and order the sculpted to display. So what's the point? I'm too selective and I do appreciate that because it saves moneyYep, only ordered one because of kids
Same. While there's no question that this is one heck of a prototype and is one of the best, if not THE best officially licensed protos from a company we've seen yet, like you said, it's not like HT is making garbage figures. Regardless of how you feel about the movie/characters, just a few weeks ago most were praising HT for the amazing looking AOTC Anakin and Padme.Agreed.
