lol, I should have gone back in the forums a bit! 😂. But I got out of the forums because I was really disappointed about it and hate being the guy that throws more fuel in the fire.

The broken Narsil sword shards would have been the perfect exclusive item! Something very cool, but not really necessary to the character.

I’m more upset because the ranger cloak was how I was going to display him. Loved his first appearance look in the movie. Just a straight up badass! But I get how others wouldn’t care, or feel it isn’t necessary.

I ordered the TOPO cloak, but not sure if I’ll keep it or the figure.
I ordered three premiums expecting three ranger cloaks for all my various Aragorn customs I've been building for years. They couldn't even get the sword belt stamps or vambrace colour right on the final version so I'm going to have to fix those as well as ordering third party cloaks! 😅

I got my sculpted Aragorn in today but will most likely sell it since the premium came out so nicely. I thought of maybe keeping the sculpt but I don’t see myself ever swapping the rooted version out.

I also have a sculpted on pre-order, but I'm keeping it and I went ahead and ordered one of the third party ranger cloaks, so I can have an Aragorn and a Strider.

Finally futzed with the hair and it helps a tremendous amount! Also got some outside pics of this amazing figure!

What an mid likeness. Really just an average, over hyped release. I can think of 55 figures better than this, easy. The stitches on the coat are just 2mm off and I can't believe they'd make such a blatant mistake.

A few tiny bangs cut:oops:, shampoo, light hair oil, blot dry, brush tho u are not supposed to brush wet wool it frizzes, freak out no pun intended WTF:eek::eek::eek:

"Dude you just wrecked your Ferrari"....

"Its not mine."

Bite bullet, ponder the wisdom/comments from some board member (thanks!(y)), hit up Amazon for gel, forceps, and tiny clothespins that didn't work but will use for something......

More like hours later:eek::eek::eek: something I can live with:

It took *massive gelling* and heating the forceps and using them like a tiny flat iron to tame some of the floof. Mildly irritated that IMO they should have left 1/4" hair longer on mine. But am happy enough.

Sorry Viggo at the end of the day, my fig just has "good hair"😁 e.g. lots of it + waves. That's just how it's gonna be. I could keep heat treating/flattening but would probably just mess something up Hafta say looking at sculpt through close up of cell phones, InArt did a remarkable job. Not sure why sometimes the sculpt doesn't look quite right - strange.

Anyway I've got my *nits* but, like, from a foot away, pretty EPIC on the shelf. I don't wanna mess with him any more until the RANGER CLOAK gets here THANKS TO A CUSTOMIZER STEPPING IN TO DO THE WORK FOR INART:hammerhead:. I don't like moving the eyes around, already popped one out, afraid of wrecking them.

my poor mans (sculpted) version, is scheduled to be delivered Monday!!

IMO nobody should knock the sculpted - am a rooted hair fan but *unexpectedly* spent hours tinkering with Aragorn's hair. Am still tinkering with it. I don't mind so much (and dream of a mohair rooted Thorin, and this fiber would have been excellent for that), but I like working with my hands.

For the rooted IMO Inart did what they could on the production line, but clearly there are inconsistencies with the rooted. Not everyone is gonna want to mess with fiber.
