He's in!

Came out alright, straight from the box. Still a bit spammy, so will have to do some hairdressing at some point, but not too bad considering its a later batch.

The only issue was the bow to insert in the quiver was snapped. I've fixed with glue and can hide the join in the quiver, so think I will just stick with it, but a bit of a shame. The neck joint was a major pain to get in as it was so tight, and the hands will need a little bit of messing so they all stay in, but overall I am very impressed.

Excuse the crappy photos.

After pre-ordering a standard Aragorn from KG Hobby on January 13, 2023, today my order status has finally changed from "Awaiting Fulfillment" to "Awaiting Shipment!"

Aragorn is getting closer!

Congratulations! Glad you like him. I think you got a good one regarding the hair. I also got lucky with mine. Yeah, I also had a problem fitting the neck peg. Ended up using the hairdryer for just a few seconds into the neck and then was able to push the connector peg in pretty easy.

That's what she said

Mines shipping now, wont be able to open it til Thanksgiving though.

I think living away from home has given me a new perspective, being able to see everyone enjoy theirs while I wait, makes me realize that I can enjoy certain things from afar. I love LOTR, I think its the greatest trilogy of all time In every aspect. But at heart, I like grittier things, so I think once InArt finally gets to Jon Snow and Daenerys, I will pass this figure on. I am trying to be more selective of things and I think GoT scratches that fantasy itch well enough to not have both. If I ever feel I miss this figure, I can just come on here and look at everyone's amazing pictures.

Regardless, Ill get to enjoy this figure for awhile anyways, so I'm not missing much here.

Is it true that Inarts new exchange policy is...

You have to send back the damaged part and they send you a replacement, and you have to cover all the shipping?

If so, that's ******
Haven't checked recently. Or, they want you to go through your retailer. Either way, IMO, their customer service isn't "premium" - more like folks who want to hang onto every penny, no matter what.

If nothing else, IMO people should go through a trusted retailer and make use of their credit card company and Paypal protection. I'd never prepay with this company.
