My standard Aragorn has shipped from KG Hobby! Aragorn is getting even closer!

I haven't ordered from them for awhile... anyone here know what I can expect for shipping time/speed?

I finally got him! This was with no futzing whatsoever straight out of the box. I still haven’t opened Gandalf but I will soon!

Part of the problem is you don't have his head pushed down all the way! He's got a crane neck here. If you do that and tame the hair a bit he'll look great.
Good point, he does look a bit long necked. I’m having trouble pushing it all the way down. Should it click in place? There seems to be a groove at the top to hold the neck peg. I’ll definitely play with the hair but overall I’m really happy the hair length is fine even with the curls.

Yeah, it should click when you push it down!

I was thinking of getting Tetsu to rehair my sculpt. Asked and the price is like $280 that's definitely a lot to have the hair redone. But it looks way better then how we have it atm.
I'm happy enough with mine at this point. For folks who have smaller waves than mine, Aragon has looked like that too. Some nice hair jobs here.

I'd give him a wash and try hair relaxer over an expensive re-root job if I wanted silky mostly straight hair. Far as I can tell he only looked that way in a few scenes. But I bought him a cloak, a horse, a camp fire, and misc.:p Probably over 150$ of extra stuff, so what do I know.

But IMO it's a bit much to pay that much for a fig and then pay for a custom job.

I think an hour or two just spent with some water and gel to redo the hair yourself would be preferable to the whole custom rehairing fiasco.

Best case scenario- you achieve your desired outcome and learn a new skill along the way, saving you countless dollars in the future.
Worst case scenario- you totally ruin the hair and have to get it redone anyway.
